You already know, but just to document it so it isn't reported over and over:
Scrolling is BROKENEDED somewhat... :P

Cheers! ;D

Think you could go through whatever lib you're using and make it work on non-webkit browsers? I'd like to be able to use it, over here in WiMO land.

Opera Mobile/Opera Mini support would like 5x the userbase.

Opera mini is a no go completely. It doesnt support JavaScript.

I can't really convert it either but I am intending to write a more basic version for cellphones that doesn't use the sencha touch framework.

And yes I'm still unsure how to fixthe scrolling issue but I will try my best.

Earlier, Opera support was mentionned. Netham45 was able to use it but not me, though. ???

It worked in Chrome of course, though.

Pressing links to go to users profile doesn't seem to work and is there a way to add PMs? Or not really?

It kinda sorta worked in Opera; I saw the text load and assumed it fully worked.

The formatting was fubar, and the textbox won't send.

It supports a bit of Javascript, and frames. I'd suggest having a bottom frame for the textbox and such, and a top frame for the text from IRC with a meta refresh tag for 5 seconds or so.(Opera Mini doesn't support meta refresh.) It'll keep refreshing and be ugly, but it's prolly all you'll get to work on there.

That's the -lightest- OmnomIRC client I could possibly make. Works so-so on Opera Mini, not quite as well as I'd like. I'm doing it in a very hackish way to get around the 2 second execution limit, it should update roughly every 5 seconds or so. I can't guarantee it'll work, though. Pretty much any sort of caching trips it up.

Netham45, that's looking quite cool as well :D Nice job.

That looks good :) Make sure to get that more public for those who use it :P

Hmm, I'll see what I can do. As far as I knew it should work. What exactly happens?

I'm also going to work on adding in a popup showing the userlist when I get to work on it again today.

EDIT: Fixed the Channel label in the settings.

*UPDATE*
iOmnom now has a prettier login/logout system. To logout just go to settings and hit the logout button in the top left corner. When you are logged out and you open iOmnom is will automatically create an overlay with the login box for you and after you correctly login with it it will let you begin using iOmnom.
I also made the title text white so it's easier to see :P

Nice Eeems. Also if it's not done already, it would be nice to be able to switch between #omnimaga and #omnimaga-fr in there, same for Netham45's iOmnom_Mini

It's done in his, but I haven't added anything to mine about it.

Ah ok. It would be nice.

Btw there are reports about the text being extremly small in yours on mobile devices, to the point where it's unreadable.

Also in Iambian's case, while he types he can't see anything people say. I think this might be due to the extreme-super-hyper-fucking-mega large send button at the bottom.

The logout button still takes me to "page not found" at omnimaga.org/iOmnom/undefined

Also, every line has huuuuge top and bottom margins, which really hinders the amount of visible text which is already quite limited for mobile devices.

I'm using Chrome 10.0.648.205 on my computer, and the default Android browser on my—big surprise—Droid.

I've been getting that too on my iPod, the strange thing is, it works completely fine on google chrome for me. Still trying to figure a way around it.

Yeah, Netham has been making some changes that were the cause of that (I use the same stuff OmnomIRC does so any changes he does to the backend of that I get too :/ ) But that should be fixed now I believe.

Not sure if this is a bug or if it's normal for a non-cell phone browser, but links don't work.

Yeah I'm not actually sure what's going on. I'm still trying to figure out a fix for this.

Also, updates for toggling highlights on username mentions, and changing the refresh rate.

Think you can make it time out after like 5 minutes of inactivity?

sure I can add something in for that :) Working on it now actually.

It would be nice and also I think there needs to be a maximum framerate cap, like no more than 1 refresh per second. If this ever gets as popular as the on-site chat, we will once again face the issues we were facing about server load. THat said, iOmnom is currently not working since OmnomIRC is being redone, so it's not a big hurry for now.

Doesn't Omnom already time out after a couple minutes of inactivity?

actually the fastest refresh rate that iOmnom can do is 1 second intervals.

Omnom does, but iOmnom doesn't do that yet, although it's in the works

Bug report: On the Settings panel here's a huge gap under Refresh Enabled, and it gets bigger with each post received, apparently O.O

Yeah I've noticed, I'm really confused about why it's there, I can't seem to get rid of it :/

Awesome :D Any plans to change it so it uses the same parser as the normal Omnom?

I won't be updating iOmnom_Mini to use it, it's too much stress on the target browsers/devices. I can give Eeems info on it if he wishes to make iOmnom use it.

When I get around to working on it I will, but I have a bunch of other projects on the stack before it.

Will LogBounce eventually vanish completely?

I haven't seen Eeems's code, but I believe he's calling the files directly on my server now, which just leaves messagebounce which is little enough it's worthless.

Ah ok that's good. It doesnt make my site traffic overly inflated anymore :P (one month, about 6 millions of our 11 million requests were OmnomIRC's O.O)

I would like to see some of the OmnomIRC Updates (the recent ones) included in iOmnom, it'd be cool ;)

Woops, sorry I always confuse this thread with OmnomIRC. My bad. But yeah you get the idea.
