Since recent weeks, my 83+ display I've 1400Ko in my flash memory :
Sure that's a joke, but I think my problem come from my axe game "a present at any price (http://ourl.ca/8865)".
Axe still holds surprises...

1440K on a 83+ with many programs? It only displays it or do you really have 1440K?

Hmm... I've heard about similar stuff happening before. Maybe your swap sector is deleted... If it is, garbage collecting and a few other things will crash your calc. But this doesn't seem right... I think the 83+ doesn't have more than 1 MB of total flash memory (including OS, certificate, and swap sector), but I'm not sure.

My calc was very stable, that is just a wrong the numberdisplayed. So GarbageCollect worked.

Wow weird. I am unsure if trying to fill all that amount of archive could cause issues, though, such as files overwriting the OS and the like?
There was a way to add 80 isk KB of archive to your calc on OS 1.12 apparently, but it went away when garbage collecting or doing a reset and you could no longer install apps.

Wow. I didn't even know the 83+ OS could support that much flash. Guess it does. Someone should try that in a mod!

I think he just wrote the wrong value to somewhere. :P

It's a floppy disk!

I meant how the OS displayed 1440 KB as "1440K", meaning it was made with more flash in mind.

I bet OS 1.12 can't display that, though, because it was made 2 years before the 83+SE came out, unless TI was really planning this long in advance.

In fact, the TI-83+ FlashROM chip is 512Kb (160Kb archive).
The TI-84+ FlashROM chip is 1Mb (480Kb archive).
And the TI-83+SE/84+SE FlashROM chip is 2Mb (1.5Mb archive).

If only KnightOS would get finished... this would become something like 400 KB archive on the 83+, almost 1 MB on the 84+ and almost 2 MB on the 83+ SE/84+SE, some of which would also have 48-128 KB of RAM.
