Donut Quest http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/394/39494.html and it's level editor http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/394/39495.html . This is a wonderful game, and it's amazingly versatile and complex. To all of you, if you haven't tried this wonderful Basic Game, try it now! ;D

it would actually be this one:
http://ourl.ca/6059 (http://www.omnimaga.org/games/starcraft/starcraft.swf)
;D :P
tloz: it stared out as a 86 BASIC Porogram, and its already been ported to BASIC. :P
EDIT: oops, I sort of gave it away. oh well, fixed
-
lol :P
-
@yunhua
what about 83/+ basic? somebody could do that ;D
-
port WRFNG to basic ;D
It originated in BASIC in the first place actually :P
Using sub-routines, I wonder if Nemesiat could be ported to 1 single program?
Ztrumpet I tried Donut Quest, it was nice, but way too hard. On ticalc I planned to review it and on difficulty it certain won't get higher than 1/10 from me. The rest will get 9 or 10/10, though.
-
I agree with zTrumpet on the Donut Quest stance ^^ its my favorite Basic game of all time, what with the graphics, puzzles, and amazing coding, all in one program! It truly astounds me, and i am inspired by it every day :)

That's the truth! I've had discussions with you before on where in each of your games there's Donut Quest influence. ;D
-
Btw are there a lot of external levelsets available for it somewhere? I might try some at one point if there are any. Just not the default level set x.x
-
I think there is a level set from Donut Quest 1 (which i dont think was ever released?) But its pretty hard as well D:
-
I swear I saw one that wasn't as hard somewhere, but I'm unsure anymore. I pretty much gave up on the default level set
-
List DQOLD comes with the program and contains the original 6 levels. :)
Here's my three Donut Quest levels:

Hmm I should play donut quest...
Anyways I am hoping to make Dwell (altough it's a hybrid) rather complex as well....I'll have to see how far I can get...

Nope, today's the first time anyone online's ever seen them. :)

darn, how do you guys figure out those puzzles so easily??? I guess I must just not be talented for them :/
I spent 1 month on level 1 to no avail...
-

I spent 2-3 months on level 7 and 1-2 months on level 5. ;D
Nemo's a puzzling beast. :P
-
Yeah I notice. I sure wouldn't work on a puzzle game. I think the levels would be too easy D:
In Reuben Quest I am sure anyone could solve the few puzzles the games have.
-
*hint* Unnamed RPG shall be this <insert title here>. *hint*
-
That would be cool. Also, please finish it (and your other projects) ;D
-
Okay then. :)
