KermMartian has started to port his TI-83 Plus Scorched Earth clone to the new Casio fx-cg10/20 calculator series and a single-player beta is now available on Cemetech. Here is a video of the game in action:

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhJU4voLR2Q" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhJU4voLR2Q</a>

As you will see sometimes with the AI as well as at the end of the video, there are some glitches since it isn't finished yet, but it still looks great and promising.

UPDATE (May 25th 2011): A beta version of the game has now been released! Download it here! Kerm also made a video of the updated game as well.

Unless he did a very recent update, this is the one he let me alpha test recently.  It's rather nice to play, but still think it's too cramped for space and explosions should be red Grin

Yes the game still has much more work to do as there are some bugs and the AI and some of the physics are not implemented yet. It does though give a good representation of what is possible on the Prizm and future games we will see.

List of stuff I need to do before September:
1. Finish the Emulator of the Casio Prizm (in active development)
2. Finish the the SH3 asm IDE/assembler/linker program (in active development)
3. Create a partial Java virtual machine  for the Prizm (not started)
4. Create Axe for the Prizm with an Axe legacy mode (in planning phase)
5. Develop a large set of C and asm libraries for the Prizm (some progress)
6. Create an emulator of the 83+ for the Prizm (not started)
7. Create a well polished game that showcases the ability of the Casio Prizm (not started)

Actually i didn't find the space to be as cramped as from the screenshots, but I agree maybe smaller tanks would be better. Maybe the option to choose the size?

And yeah I think this is the same version. It is the only one I could find on Cemetech.

Kerm has posted a beta version of the game now! http://www.cemetech.net/programs/index.php?mode=file&path=/prizm/games/oblitr8.zip

I'm adding the link and his own video of the game in the 1st post.
