Wow, I like the animation above. It would be a nice effect for a calc game.

That tree looks nice too ^^
In case you are wondering where I went, I left Omni back in 2015 to form CodeWalrus due to various reasons explained back then, but I stopped calc dev in 2016 and am now mostly active on the CW Discord server at https://discord.gg/cuZcfcF

I have another one which adds rgb separation

The main problem is the algortihm is quite the heavy one, it recolors an image (done in the setup part) and then the main loop redraws the image and applies many glitching effects.

I should investigate a already converted to palette version and optimisze this, this could be very fun!

Thanks for posting the link. :D Actually, for people who stick to limited video softwares like WMM or VirtualDub, this could be handy, since the user can just convert a GIF to AVI. How do you use pde files, though?

I should try to create a similar effect on the HP Prime. :)

This a Processing program. It render the frames as a series of png. I assembled the files in a GIF with Gimp. It uses a stored in a picture to choose the right colors for the to-be sampled image. (Here I gave the NES palette.)

Thanks for the link. Hopefully it's not command-prompt-based, though <_<
