and question... can I make the actual hit sprite with a bigger width? like for the actual club to stick out?

Sure, but don't make the width too much of a difference.
If you wanted to you could also add a walking sprite for him.

ok here are all of your orc sprites :) I hope you enjoy them!

to make a moving effect, just switch between the orc (leg up) and orc (leg down)

BTW, the wolverine is not supposed to be a wolverine. It is supposed to be a two-legged creature with claws really long like Wolverine.

Yeah I thought so, but I'm going to use the wolverine idea as my design..it won't look like wolverine, and I assume you will want him walking and slashing?
