Brass (and it's related sub-programs) always crash on startup
« on: October 02, 2011, 04:15:55 pm »

No matter how many  times I uninstall, reinstall, delete and re-download it I always get this "Failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135) click 'OK' to terminate the application" error.

I'm on WinXP btw.

What version of the .NET runtime do you have installed?

Oh I see, need an additional runtime program.
When I downloaded it, there was no mention of any runtime "dependencies."

I feel kinda dumb now, but if a program needs a runtime it'll usually complain that you don't have it.

Many thanks.

You're welcome. Yeah, the .NET runtime comes pre-installed on everything after XP, because C# wasn't invented to after XP came out.
