League of Legends Players?

Hello everyone,

So I just started playing League of Legends (LoL)recently and was curious if anyone else plays it?

If you do not know what this is, it is basically and enhanced version of Defense of the Ancients (DotA). (It is enhanced graphically and some game play things are changed (like store use). The overall concept is the same though, try to defeat your enenmies base. Heroes are also completely different.) DotA is a mod (or what ever you would call it) for WarCraft III: Frozen Throne.

Again, just curious if anyone else plays it or anything :)

I played some HoN (Heroes of Newerth) which is another, more popular, upgraded version of DotA.
However, I suck WAY too much to keep playing. =/

Ya, I think I've seen that before. LoL is created by the people who made DotA so it's pretty legit :P

Yeah, I saw that. I'm tempted to give it a try.

HoN is really big though. You can't get in without a beta key and the final version will cost you a pretty penny (about $30) to play.

Isn't LoL free-to-play? (too lazy to check the site. xP)

Ya, that's what I didn't like about HoN (and why I've never tried it :P) is because of the cost. Ya, LoL is free. Of course though there is always the chance to buy stuff though if so compelled :P

Mhmm interesting, altough I tend to not play much strategy games anymore except for SC. Maybe I should give it a try some day
