Forever?
If they remove them, they can't repair bricked TI-Nspire.

It doesn't really seem like they care about their customers anyways <_<

I'm betting they'll try to use different ways to do it, even if it requires modding the hardware. Even if it would be more expensive and harder, I bet that this is what they would do, seeing everything they did so far. I bet they would be even ready to lose money from repairing bricked Nspires if it meant permanently getting rid of ASM development. Plus OS updates will most likely occur via wi-fi or something :P

I know fortytwo.
The (bad) news is coming.

But I would have liked to get a confirmation from someone else before.

Edit: the first news about the problem has just been posted in french on TI-Planet:
http://tiplanet.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=12883#p147130

It's coming in english soon - but this is very bad news.

You cannot downgrade the Boot2 to version 3.1 anymore on new TI-Nspire CX hardware revision J which come preloaded with Boot2 3.2.4, not even by using RS232.

The Boot2 3.1 just crashes if flashed on those models:

So, no Ndless and no Nlaunch for new TI-Nspire CX.
Sorry, I never ended up finding out that this thread actually got updated. I am very, very late. Anyways, it's P-0413J. For now, I've given up on applying any hacks to it.
