A call just came for us that there's a 1/10 chance an aftershock "similar in strength" may occur by 2 pm tomorrow. :/

I hope we hit that 9/10 chance it doesn't. :D

Late last night, Quebec was invaded by a group calling themselves, "Omnimaga". Not much is known about these mysterious people except that they all carried calculators of some kind and they all seemed to converge on one house in particular. Experts estimate that the combined power of their fabled calculators is greater than all the worlds super computers put together. The group seems to be holding out in the home of a certain DJ_O, who the Omnimagians claim to be their founder. Such power has put the world at a standstill with everyone waiting to see what the Omnimagians will do...

Wait... This just in, the Omnimagians have sent the UN a list of demands that must be met or else the world will be "submitted to the wrath of Netham45's Lobster Army". Such demands include >9001 crates of peanuts, sacrificial blue lobsters, and a wide assortment of cherry flavored items. With such computing power stored in the hands of such people, we can only hope these demands are met.

In the wake of these events, we can only ask, Why? Why do these people make these demands, what caused them to gather, and what are their future plans...

On my part, the house just shook a bit. Nothing fell. (Though apparently some close neighbors were a bit less lucky)

Wow. I hope you're right about the aftershocks, and that they don't come!

Supposedly, my area is overdue for a bi quake, too. Of course, when a geologist says "any day now" and it happens 500 years later they say "I told you so!" so I'm not too worried.

Oh, and I didn't feel it in Box Elder County, Utah :P Just a wee bit too far, I guess.

Oh you East Coast-ers... we get earthquakes far bigger than that about every 10 years in California. :P

But yeah, must have been a shock since they're so rare there and not as prepared.

Where I live is on a fault line.  We NEVER get quakes.  Its crazy.  The last one (I think) was in like the 60s or 70s.

I have a sister living in Alabama, who's coming out to visit in a few days..

EDIT: apparently there was one in Colorado, a 3.9.  Didn't feel that one either.

Well I didn't feel it as I live in California, but my gf and other friend in Pennslyvania (idk I have too many friends from Pennsylvania :P) texted me about it immediately after it happened. My gf's reaction was:

I don't know about the others here who felt it but I'm guessing a somewhat similar reaction because many had never felt an earthquake before

1. Finish the Emulator of the Casio Prizm (in active development)

3. Create a partial Java virtual machine  for the Prizm (not started)

6. Create an emulator of the 83+ for the Prizm (not started)
7. Create a well polished game that showcases the ability of the Casio Prizm (not started)

Felt it in MD for sure.  The whole house shook and then it was over.  The dog randomly started biting everyone in the house and then it happened.

^Exactly this. As I said it wasn't very strong since I'm pretty far away, but it was a "wtf is this?" moment.

It's funny how animals have a sixth sense about these things. The dog was trying to tell you guys: "Yo some serious shit's about to go down! Why aren't you listening!???" ;D
