I haven't contacted anyone yet, if you were wondering. But my telekinesis is coming along nicely (when I'm not trying)

hey dude, million dollar reward is out for anyone who can demonstrate paranormal abilities in a controlled environment. Some guy is into busting fraudulent psychics and has a huge wallet, but says if you can complete a test the money is yours. Ill see if I can find a link to the news article I saw this morning

I know all about that JREF Million Dollar Challenge. So does every other 'real' psychic.
If you just go through there logs of applicants you would notice how they make them look stupid. I know of a case where the conversations were edited to make JREF look better, and even fake emails were added in.
And if the applicants don't suddenly stop replying, they usually find a way to stop the preliminary testing from happening. I read one about a guy who could summon UFOs and was going to do it January last year in LA, until in late December when he brought up the fact that there may have to be armed guards at the park and JREF took the opportunity to disqualify him without looking back.
Sure, some of those applicants are fake as hell, but the ones that aren't get ripped off. This is not an unbiased organization trying to advance science. It is a cult of noobish skeptics that would explain anyone passing the test as a guy who got lucky with quantum randomness, or a cheater.
Also, the prize money is worthless bonds.
[end rant]

But I would enter to prove THEM fakes; I would just need a perfect testing procedure. I think spinning the wheel thing inside a vacuum would do it. No wind interference. :Dbiggrin.gif

Ah yes, as you can see, another person who believes psychic powers are bs like me. :)smile.gif Stick with magic that you know works. :3 Boooooom!

I really want to learn a way to throw fireballs 'cause that would be awesome. Unfortunately most people I have asked either have nfc how to do that or are unwilling to impart the information to me. :(sad.gif I found stuff on internets and books, but I am afeared of fireballing my hands off. :/confused.gif

Some basic knowledge of chemistry and white phosphor is all that is required. XDsmiley.gif

Have you tried mind reading? I'm only good at that when I'm playing poker :Ptongue.gif

the best strategy for this of which I know involves fireproof gloves, gasoline, styrofoam and a lighter.

pressure treated olives and denatured alcohol work well too.

Telepathy is next up on the list, graywolf. I'm not sure if you can 'read minds' or just send messages...

I don't think I mentioned the String here yet...
@ school, first period, the front of the room, hanging from the pull-down map is the string to pull it down. Hard to describe, unless you just know what I'm talking about, and I think most of you will.
Well, the whole time I've been using that string as practice TK. Making it move back and forth, yeah. The way it would sway if there was a wind (which there isn't)
Today, I did it again. BUT this time, I went off thinking about Star Wars and thought "Hey, why don't I try asking the string's Midi-chlorians (the Force makers) to move it for me?" And guess what happened next...
The absolute bottom of the string went spastic back and forth, while the rest of the string was stationary. Picture your hand frozen and shivering faster than your eye can see it with your arm fine.
And I just sat there staring. Best birthday present I could ever get :Dbiggrin.gif

And yes, I was able to make it happen again, and so was the guy in front of me (the pseudoskeptic, not like the other one that said this was the work of convection currents...)

One of these days I'll get a sig I'm really proud of.

There are 10 types of people in this world-- those that can read binary, and those that can't.
