I am actually looking this one: http://www.gentechpc.com/showpages.asp?pid=1083 it is basically the same as the gt780dx-406us except 200 MHz slower and only 8 GB ram (I don't think ill utilize 12 GB of ram lol let alone 8 GB)

I know you previously mentioned that Alienware is way overpriced, but I believe the m14x is reasonable. For around 1,500 you could get ta core i7 2670qm with 3gb gt555m.

speaking of desktops, makes me want to start a thread where people can show off their desktops (I myself actually don't have a gaming laptop lol but might get one soon)

lol i couldn't right click, it would not stop loading, i had to transfer all my files to my external hard drives and reinstall my os. The dumb thing was that once i had finish transfering my stuff, the computer decided to work again. I formatted it anyways lol
