A new way to vent your frustration
« on: October 18, 2007, 08:17:00 am »
Recently I found some kind of weird but new way to vent my frustration. Altough it doesn't work in extreme cases it works in small ones. What I do: Review crappy programs at ticalc.org. Basically if you see a game on ticalc.org and download it because you want to try out, and it's flawed or it just plain sucks (mostly BASIC games and some ASM ones) just review it. I know it sounds weird but for some reasons it seems to help a bit %)rolleyes2.gif On top of that (unless you flame the author) it contribute to users downloading games at ticalc.org as well since lot of files have misinterpretable description/wrong description/no screenshos

Same here. That sounds like a good way to let stress out... take it out on bad Basic newbies.
One of these days I'll get a sig I'm really proud of.

Well, usuallly when the author have very few games or it is the first time he make a game like the one i review, I give suggestions on how to improve as well. See Fate RPG review at ticalc.org for example.
