I don't really think it's a side effect as it is something one may see one strives for ;)wink.gif

Ooh I must remember to put back the member legend...

Black: members
Blue: Admins
Red: Staff
Green: Managers
Purple: Elite members

On the old forums there was also groups for retired staff but when viewing a topic all names are bold by default so it was hard to make the difference between current and retired staff/managers :Ptongue.gif so instead retired staff are put in the member usergroup. The only downside is that unlike the old forums retired staff cannot view the staff forums

that could be changed I think, what if you maked a catchall retired group of a diffrent color (does IPB 1.3 allow multiple groups like 2.0?)

Well I could alter kalan_vod permission masks to make him be able to view the staff forum, basically mask his permission with staff ones, like we did with Madskillz on EPS 1.5 years ago, but then he would be able to post new topics in the news section. I'll see what I can do, retired staff who did stuff for Omnimaga are all listed in the About section here anyway: http://omnimaga.dyndns.org/index.php?showtopic=72

Maybe, altough it wouldnt tell who was staff, admin, manager. I think I'll leave it like it is now, all other forums work like this anyway

I really don't care to have special permissions, but I wouldn't mind them. Heh I am the only retired admin :Ptongue.gif.
