How many digits do you have Pi memorized out to? I can only do 10 off the top of my head.

It's silly to celebrate 3/14 just because the ratio of a circle's circumference to diameter is '3.14...'. A circle is most naturally defined by its radius, not its diameter ((x - x0)2 + (y - y0)2 = r2), so we should really be celebrating 6/28.

Wow, that article is quite convincing! :)

Thank you for posting, Goplat!

On the news, there was a "Pi Day" party at a local school where they stated the definition of pi using the diameter of a circle.  My mom yelled at me when I started to criticize the segment! :P

July 22 is aproximate pi day.

At my school we had to learn about Pi and got to eat Pi and Oreos. It was a good day. I programmed my calc/school computer most of the day though
