Grammer sub-forum added
« on: January 31, 2012, 04:04:38 pm »
This was done a few days ago, but I didn't have time to write the news about it until now. A new board for those who need help programming in Grammer language was added on Omnimaga! Like the Axe Parser language, now there is a section to discuss about the project and one to get help or give advice to program in the language.

For those who haven't seen them yet, the project board is under Major Community Projects and the help one is under TI programming and support:

Grammer project discussion forums
Grammer language help forums

Eventually the admins will also add a link to the help board directly on the front page too, along with a navigation EzBlock above each section like the Axe one, for ease of access. Projects will continue to go in the projects section.

For those who haven't checked it out, Grammer is a language similar to both Axe Parser and TI-BASIC, but while it's faster than TI-BASIC, it is still interpreted, unlike Axe, which is compiled. Some mini-games examples were created shortly after its release and currently a major project using this language is being worked on: a Grammer remake of The Reign of Legends 3 (which was originally released in 2004).

Awesome :] I am still around throughout the day and I check in often, but even if I am not here to answer a question, there are some folks that can (like Sorunome or Yeong).

Yeay! It really deserved it's own forum IMO. That ROFL port looks to be getting around nicely. :)

ROL3, specifically :P (Reign of Legends). It was a fairly well respected RPG DJ_O made back when he programmed a lot o.o

Yay for grammer! (hope thats spelled right)
I've never gotten to play the original ROL3 so from what i've witnessed it is a very great game, so I really can't wait for this to get finished! Nice Job! :D

Since it is a pronoun, I believe the G needs to be capitalised :P (sorry, I had to)
I really hope Yeong can finish it this year o.o It would be a big deal O:
