I tried /msg #omnimaga test on OmnomIRC, and (as I should have expected) it highlighted the entire channel. Unless it was added on purpose, I personally would suggest removing the /msg feature for channels so people (like me) don't do stupid things.

And a bump for broken PM tabs

And I did another necro-fix of a bug from when before I did Omnom, fixing the ever-expanding chat on mobile safari

Wow I didn't know about this bug

. Good thing this wasn't abused. I know certain people I will not name that could have been prone to abusing it back then.

Also, back then, I rememebr there was a bug in omnom causing people to see your PMs if you said their nicknames in the PM and they had a tab open for your nick. I forgot if that was fixed or not over the years, but it kinda creeped me out once when it happened. >.<

EDIT: I can't see anything wrong happening with broken PM tabs, now, except that they now take A LONG while to load.

That's why I posted the bug report in a private forum (before I moved it out ten minutes ago)

The while to load would be because it is looking up stuff in a 2 million lines plus table

And I fixed that bug of sniffing PMs. Or somebody else did, don't remember.
