Calc Design
« on: July 09, 2012, 03:58:50 pm »
Over the last 2 nights I came up with a new calculator design.
1. The original keyboard layout and some specs. Notice the similarity to the TI-Nspire. Only with more programming capabilities.
2. Partial list of programming commands. HomeDisp is for the homescreen.
3. Improved keyboard layout. Note that the arrow keys should be larger.
4. Some "screenshots."
Questions? Comments?
Edit: I can't upload the images here; I'll post the links to them soon.

Due to dissatisfaction, I will be inactive on Omnimaga until further notice. (?? THP hasn't been much success and there's also the CE. I might possibly be here for a while.)
If you want to implore me to come back, or otherwise contact me, I can be found on GitHub (bluebear94), Twitter (@melranosF_), Reddit (/u/Fluffy8x), or e-mail (if you know my address). As a last resort, send me a PM on Cemetech (bluebear94) or join Touhou Prono (don't be fooled by the name). I've also enabled notifications for PMs on Omnimaga, but I don't advise using that since I might be banned.

They're still uploading because they're huge.
Edit: I decided to use RFG instead, so here's the link to the first one: http://img.removedfromgame.com/imgs/scan0005.png

Thanks for not including the clickpad/touchpad. Seems nice in general at first glance.

I think it looks weird having the F1-6 keys below the d-pad :P

I don't know about everyone else, but I personally prefer Casio's Alpha mode to a separate set of keys for text. It is just as easy to type with once you get used to it and it saves that space for more important buttons. Also, what about putting the trig functions more towards the screen?
