Wireless Gaming?
« on: December 06, 2005, 03:20:00 pm »
I do not know if this idea has already been discussed before, but I need some help with it. I would like to take a link cable and attach a reciever to one end, and a transmitter to the other to be able to play wireless 2 player games, or maybe have wireless chatting.

I don't even know if this is possible, but I am willing to experiment. I just need some input, ideas, or even a way to accomplish this. Thanks.

hmm sound interesting, dunno if its possible though. What I though is abotu something like KermMartian is attempting to make. Maybe there are some way in asm to make the calc  send info via the link port so the receiver would send it to the other calc, allowing var sharing for multi player games, like ztetris but wireless. However I dont know much about Assembly programming, maybe someone who know more about this could help more :)smile.gif

Well, using logic, you can play multiplayer games calc-to-calc.  Also, if you have an 84+, you have a USB port, which someone (see CG.org news) was getting to recognize all sorts of things, so I believe it is possible.  How to do it?  No clue.
