Axe / Re: A little help
« on: April 07, 2010, 12:20:05 pm »
I didnt understand it, but never mind.

What about storing and recalling to and from appvars. The documentation tells u how to create/remove/select/ and archive/dearchive but i dont believe how to actually store data to them.

And I'm having problems: here is my test code.

ClrHome
Fix 4
Output(1,1,POKEMON
Pause 1000

When I compile this, it displays nothing.

EDIT by DJ Omnimaga: merged close double-posts (there were under 6 hours)

Ok. Fair enough. And what about text commands. If I wanted to display simple text on the homescreen, how would i do it.

Axe / A little help
« on: April 07, 2010, 12:07:25 pm »
I am redesigning my Pokemon battle simulator, using Axe. So I have a few questions.

1. How do I use commands like GridOff and AxesOff in Axe.

2. Once I create an AppVar, how do I store data into it? And how do I recall data from it?

3. And are screen parameter vars, like Xmax supported?

And I may have more as I go on.

Yes. She is not as proficient in TI-Basic as myself, but in the others, she's good. She's a member of my site: www.c2prgm.webs.com, and goes by the name worldinaword...

Precisely, Zera. Though I am about to rock all of your minds. I am friends with a girl who I met as a camp counselor one year. She plays calc games. Not only that, but she also programs. In C++, Java, and TI-Basic.

I swear.
If they start making tutorials on how to program games...

OMG...

That is so sexy its scary.

I'll make a tutorial solely dedicated to game design, if there are none already done. But only for TI-Basic game design.

Since his notice had the wrong date on it, you can discard it, I think. It is of no legal value. Of course, I'm not a lawyer, so don't take my word for it.

Edit: unless, of course, it's a joke and you fooled us all.

That is true. That notice has no legal ground because the date is wrong and is therefore, inadmissible as evidence.

Work on both projects is currently on a standstill. In the first release, transporter ability will not be functional. So avoid using it, please. I may even code an error if it is used. Currently writing out AI routines for the enemy ship. For your knowledge, the AI will be programmed to continually hit first the sensors (so you can't see your enemy or lock onto him to fire), then will target your generators, then life support. Generators supply the ship with power and all systems fail without it. Life Support is the crucial system. Once life support is knocked out you lose the game. Similarly, if you knock out your enemy's life support, you win. Different systems are either in the front or back--targeting one half of the shit will only hit systems in that half. I'm not telling where everything is--it's up to you to figure that out as you play.

General Calculator Help / Text Wrangler
« on: March 26, 2010, 10:48:50 am »
I am currently using the Text Wrangler for mac program. It has a Hex Dump file, where after I type in the z80, I go to Hex Dump and it outputs hex characters. I think not. There's too much hex. Is it accurate to put on calc?

That leaves the program half done. Does anyone know how to do the other part. Lesson 3 of "28 days" doesn't seem to touch upon it.

Do you need like 3D glasses on to solve those things. Good grief.
