* AGVolnutt promptly noms the peanuts.

Thanks for the warm welcome!

And yes, my nSpire programs are always free. I have yet to release a program for any other platform.

And I'll stick to vanilla nSpire BASIC. I don't want to confuse code here and there. Plus, it will help me help others in Ti-BASIC a bit more.

Oooh. Fancy!

Did they just randomly send it to you on a whim or was it a requirement you had to meet?

I did hear that there was a sweepstakes on Facebook a while back.

A gift from TI

Lucky. Is it limited in anyway? Such as upgrading or functionality? I heard that the demo CAS models (leaked ones) couldn't be upgraded.

Lots of photos of my new TI-Nspire CX CAS!

Where did you get that?

I believe that the first poster's picture is of the emulator, right?

Although I suppose TI has "opened up", I still believe there is still a sinister intention behind the LUA tools. I mean, why would TI suddenly allow programs other than TI-BASIC? Wasn't the nSpire designed to counter "cheating"?

It could be possible that the release is to discourage the ndless developers, now that a "new platform" is available. I still think that an update will lock LUA apps in PTT mode.

How about we just spectate how this fiasco plays out, then decide whether we want to go back or not? Haven't we always been "in the dark side"?

Hello there!
I'm AGVolnutt, and I'm here to explore this neat little community that values calculator programming and arts. In other words, I'm here to see what's up and be a part of this place, too!

Some of my background is that I'm a "catch-almost-all" guy in the technical field. I have had experience in nSpire-BASIC and dabbled a little bit into Java and Android. I am also a computer/technology enthusiast. I want to push my devices as far as they can go in performance!

Some hobbies of mine are: Lady Gaga, PC gaming, crude improv* and papercraft.

Conclusion, I will spend some time having fun here at Omnimaga and it's community!

*crude improv: create practically anything that could help out in any situation using immediate resources.
