Something I notice playing Hyrule: TW, Majora is really good at beating whole armies, yet verses individual units he has a lot of trouble. Maybe this is why Link beats him.

5477: Just about everything ends up reminding you about something, someone, or somepony from Omnimaga.

Hmm I was thinking later it might be that. I guess whenever Zelda is mentioned, I'm not the only one who thinks about game consoles. Then I remember Total War is a big RTS game series (one which I would like to get into), but I've been spending too much time on other strategy game series such as Sid Meier's Civilization. :) ;) :)

If there ever is a time to get into Total War, now is definitely it. Rome II: Total War is releasing in September. There's very high expectations for it, since the original Rome: Total War is perhaps the most popular in the series. (Despite all the best mods being for Medieval II and Empire/Napoleon Total Wars)

Yeah apparently that's a Total War mod.
ah ok I am not familiar with the game Total War, but I know many people made hacks of Zelda for the SNES.

Yeah, it's a total conversion mod for Medieval II: Total War. It's much fun. And the detail and lengths they went to are very impressive.

* Scipi just thought of an evil, EVIL idea, that he'll never do.

Imagine if someone realized that, and trolled the entire forum by putting that in their signature. (Under a spoiler, to make it difficult to see where the Rick Roll is coming from.

Something rather significant, for me.

What if I were religious.

This is something that interests me, because I actually already know the answer. But it's not the answer one would expect given my location and the surrounding culture. If I were to follow a religion, I am most certain I would be Taoist. Which is... Weird given the fact that I grew up in a Roman Catholic family and live in a predominately Protestant Christian region of the US. Taoism is virtually unheard of in the US, whereas the Abrahamic religions are very dominant.

It's odd, to say the least.

I'm playing Hyrule: Total War and being blown away by just how much lore there is behind Legend of Zelda.

I can agree that excessive Gifs and spam (at least visible spam) are an issue. Though I can't quite agree with the singling out of MLP as objectionable subject matter.

As far as I see signatures, they're not supposed to be exactly in line with the subject of the forum, but more of a personal space to show things about yourself and interests that you wouldn't be able to put anywhere else in the forums. For instance, anyone who's seen my sig in the last while would see that I'm a bit of a military history buff. That's something I want to show about myself, but the subject matter doesn't fit in with the forum, so the best place to put it is my sig.

It seems to me to be a bit unfair to single out MLP, since I could replace that with something more common, say, Star Wars or Star Trek, and no one would bat an eyelash. Also since there are worse examples of signatures around. For instance, mine had about 8 very large images in a Spoiler showing historical Infantry Formations that I recently removed. But no one ever objected to it, despite it being worse, I would consider, than your first example.

So I really think it would be better to focus on the content of signatures (gifs, videos, large images, etc) rather than the subject matter of that content. Since a Signature is a personal area in nature.

I'm a bit dubious on the Spoiler one, since when used as, say, my signature, it greatly shortens and organizes my sig while still be able to show what I wish to, to those whom are interested.

I think, since due to the nature of these rules one of the things you are trying to do is prevent too distracting of signatures, the dimensions of the signature with all spoilers closed shouldn't exceed the stated dimensions, but the spoilers themselves can exceed when opened. That way, members who are interested in seeing the signature and spoiler are able to do so, while those who are not won't be distracted.

I agree with all the other rules though. I went ahead and removed my "Historical Formations" spoiler under Interests, since it contained several rather large images.

5437: You read 5434, and recall how you have spent 5x more TIME on Android apps, but have 50x more apps for your Ti-84.
5439: you remind everyone writing "TI-84" that a TI-84 doesn't exist, there is always something behind the 84, either a + or a Pocket (or both), sometimes followed by a .fr or a SE or a CSE.

5440: You wish you had a TI-84
5441: You wish you had a TI-84 plus for that matter
5442: You remember when the  emoticon was added
5443: You've created emoticons that were added to Omnimaga
5444: You still wish :3 was (Actually, can we get this one added? I even got triples :P)
5445: You steal Palindromes before others can get to them

I have Rome II pre-ordered via SEGA's site. Rome TW is still my favorite, but when it comes to mods TGW mod is by far the most impressive I've seen from any game.

Here's a teaser for the upcoming 5.0 release.

My current steam library, containing only games through steam. (I noticed that you have non-games on there Scipi ;) )

True, though the only non games are in the tools section. I usually tell people to disregard it, but I forgot to here. Some of the other games are non steam, but there are only a handful in there, like Osu!. :P

Another TW fan, huh? :D If you play Napoleon TW, I greatly suggest trying out The Great War mod. It's incredible what they've managed to do with the game.
