I would make a standard level pack, along with a random level generator. That way you can play the original levels as you wish, and still be able to make levels as you go.
When using a generator, it will also be hard to determine the least possible steps to get a maximum score (i guess that's the way it counts point, isn't it?), because the generator would have to determine itself whether it gives a lot of point or not. But it would definitely be a good idea to make one.

I know it's not in Lua, but here's one that includes generator and solver. It can be useful to base your own code on.

I never played Reuben, and it seems like a huge project, 120kB in basic hmm, zelda is lovely indeed, thanks. The only problem here is that i'd have to play it till the end to know exactly what's going on in the game, and that'll take a huge amount of time xs

Every card is in there twice, some special cards more awesome And if you have one card twice you can lay both at the same time
is that a standard rule? or is that one you invented yourself? i didn't see such a thing in the manual, that's why i ask it (i could've read over it though)

Hi
I want to start making a game that is chosen from the community itself. Therefor I want you to make suggestions for a game I should make/port. Any game is acceptable, but keep in mind that lua is limited. (no starcraft(-like), fps, high-framerate etc. stuff)
I hope some people will help me choose one, because i really want this one to finish (and i don't really have an idea of what kind of game the community wants). As you may have noticed I am working on Uno right now, but once that's finished i'll get to this project.
To clarify, this project is for Nspire (Lua) only. Everyone can give their ideas of course, I will add them to the idea-list beneath.

Idea list: - Reuben Quest: Ev Awakening - Zelda - [Decent] RPG - World's hardest game - Super Crate Box

I had some unused Steam keys for games I already have, so I gave them to my bro. Saints Row: The Third and Metro 2033, I guess he was pretty happy.
did you get those form the humble pack from about 2 weeks ago? because that was one heck of a bundle

it doesn't work if i place .tns after it, so i guess there should be a different way of doing it

Valve died with the release of STEAM imo.
how do you mean? like you hate them now, or they're going broke? Steam is very popular, especially its offers it gives with summer, holidays etc. so i don't really get why it would be dying.. a gaming pc in the living room only for steam is something you only buy if you have too much money imo. they're expensive and they 'expire' after a while, so you would have to buy a new one (or at least new graphics card, cpu etc) every year/2 years, so that's just not reliable imo

this may be a dumb question, but is the NspireColor a prototype for the CX, or for a future version of the nspire?

i read the rules, and these are the legit combinations: +2 on every +2 and every card with same color +4 on every card (including +4 and +2, color doesn't matter)
i check the last cards in the pile to see how many +4/+2's there are, and add as many cards as needed (or at leest it should do so)
what's +h ?

darn, then i'll have to add the 0, i totally forgot about that one xp and damned, that'll f*ck shit up.. i use the 0 as a not-legit card in my code, so that'll have to change

I added those, +4 looks like +4, +2 like +2, switch direction (or whatever you may call it) is §, change color is # and skip player is X that way i could just use the ascii charset to display the cards (a lot easier and no special cards had to be made) btw the right screenshot with the colors is when you lay down a colorchanger or a +4, so you can select the wanted color.
overview: [1-9] standard [§] switch direction [# ] change color [X] skip next player [+4/+2] obvious
