I don't have a Cemetech account but I'm pretty sure I can use it.

I think I disabled cookies, so I'll use that

Tell me if you need anything else (within the power of someone who started programming this year)
Not really, I just need to know if there is anything wrong with the game.
Oh, could you take a (few) screenshot(s) of it working on a monochrome calc?
When I get batteries, but I'll try
1.2.1?

EDIT: I'm using an emulator
EDIT:2 there's a error after the help screen #3 in V.1.2.1 from post #1 of this thread

EDIT 3: Here's the screenshot of the gameplay running on Wabbitemu under a TI-83+BE ROM image. I died on purpose because I didn't want to spoil anything and I wanted to see the death screen.

EDIT 4: I might port this to the V200
EDIT 5: Where should I put this in the wiki? I've been editing
EDIT 6: I'm making a V200 version. Would anyone help?

That's it for now

General Calculator Help / Re: Newprog for V200
« on: June 14, 2014, 12:03:48 pm »
Yeah it's supposedly similar to BASIC and Axe but to run Newprog games you need the Newprog shell. The only reason why so few people use it is because 68k programming is almost dead.

Maybe someone should port Reuben Quest to Newprog? :P
Don't look at me
* Princetonlion.tibd runs

Thanks guys!

General Calculator Help / Re: Newprog for V200
« on: June 14, 2014, 12:01:14 pm »
it is very similar to z80 TI-BASIC, if you can do already Axe you shouldn't really have problems with Newprog :)
(I stopped with it when it glitched my calc and deleted itself x.x (or it was prolly me writing stuff to wrong ram areas))
I'm not very fluent in z80 TI-BASIC, and all I can do with axe is sound.

I'll try it just for the sake of trying a new language.

Newprog is basically like Axe but only for the 68k calculators.
You can get it here: http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/426/42635.html (documentation is included)

Thanks!

I guess I should learn 68k BASIC first.

General Calculator Help / Newprog for V200

I saw a newprog section in the ticalc archives for the V200. What is newprog, and where can I find a simple intro to it?

These are kind of expensive if you take shipping into account. I think I'd rather lose the wallet. That would be cheaper :P
I'm with you, i can't imagine shipping the world's smallest tracking device would cost 10 bucks ;)
Or free.... (with hidden costs like apple?)
Quote from: T.Wang
Apple, lot's of hidden costs

TI Z80 / Re: [Pure BASIC] Source Seekers (TI-82 & up)
« on: June 14, 2014, 11:51:27 am »
I think this is the first pure BASIC game that runs on both the monochrome and color calcs, so you got that going for you which is nice. And cool.
Thanks. I'll look around to see if this is the case, just to be sure.
Nah, I got it. Uploading these fixes in a minute:
Spoiler For Changed:
*Fixed character blinking in level 7
*Added MirageOS support
*Added some more help text to the Help screen
Uploaded.
Edit: If I want to update the file on ticalc, how could I delete/reupload it (as in, do I have to ask someone of a higher power to do so)?
Edit 2: Nevermind, Princetonlion told me, and it was on the top of the Upload screen [/facepalm]

Miscellaneous / Re: Press Neutrality
« on: June 14, 2014, 11:47:54 am »
The government can easily "change" the truth, for example in China, nothing happened in 1989, right? That's the truth according to the Chinese government.
China has bad freedom of press, according to a lesson I had this year.

It's even funnier when you talk with, say, Chinese people.
Seems ironic... thankfully I don't talk about things like that...
