TI Calculators / Re: The Pros and Cons of TI products
« on: November 26, 2014, 12:04:11 am »
Mine:

Voyage 200
Pros:
-Powerful BASIC language
-TI-92+ Compatible (Apps and programs)
-Large screen

Cons:
-Hard to put in pocket (I somehow manage to do that)
-Large
-Not as many programs as the 83+/84+ series
-Expensive

I might edit this when I get more ideas.

My 83+runs out of batteries quickly, even when I barely use it (almost once per month). Is that a con (I don't know if it applies to other people)?

If you are not mean but your posts are always on the spammy side, you'll just remain stuck around +1/-1 forever or so.
Like me for my first 5 months :P

And as far as asking all these questions go, if you happen to have any more could you please post about in one of the (3?) topics you have already created, no need to create a new topic for a simple question. :)
I think most people make one topic for all their questions.

btw I find this useful

Omnimaga is pretty much half my entire social life, so if I can't summerize Omni I can't really summerize :P

Super Smash Bros. Open / Re: [Axe] Super Smash Bros. Open

I saw those calcs when I visited France in the Summer :P

I'm in the US so the different names haven't started to affect me too much yet

Super Smash Bros. Open / Re: [Axe] Super Smash Bros. Open

Thanks everyone :)

EDIT: Even though the readme says it won't work, I must try to try it :P
EDIT: It works!
Of course it works, and the readme doesn't say it doesn't work on a 83+. It says it doesn't work on a 83.

Still didn't figure out how to play linked, but I will, and I'll get someone to play with me! :D
Yeah, I should have put that in the readme too. Let's call your two calculators "calc1" and "calc2".
1) calc1 and calc2 start Smash
2) calc1 goes to Multi menu. Once again, calc2 must already have launched Smash or the game will quit for no reason
3) calc2 goes to Multi menu
4) if you see the character selection menu, you're all set and can start playing. Otherwise, both calcs have left the game and you start those instructions over.
I thought 83 also meant 83+ :P

My bad

I see that you seem to be a FNAF fan with the background and both games/demos :P

Yeah! Hardcore fan actually! >:D
I played the 1st one until Night 6, can't get past it though...
I'm at Night 6 on the sequel right now, too damn hard to cope with all the animatronics D:

I never got the guts to play the demo for the first one at my friends place :P

I can't get it because my main platforms are calcs and a mac.

I think Ion is an assembly library

And TI BASIC is also divided into categories, 83+, 68k, and N-spire.

I don't know a lot either, so correct me if I'm wrong.

That was a long time ago, and the newer version in the video doesn't have credits yet :P

The following posts state that I had a memory clear and re-wrote it :P

It has a delay because I tried to make it like the original.

At about 0:10 I hit f1 and use the sword.
