I say someone should try minecraft on calc.
Just saying.
It would be like classic mode though

I'm not trying to bash the idea, but Minecraft's graphics are actually incredibly difficult to do (in spite of how simple they look). The fact that the world is entirely customizable means that almost all of the little shortcuts and cheats that are used to do normal graphics don't work. I would greatly love to be proven wrong about the chances of even a limited port of it, though.

I somehow doubt the law is targeting game videos with this...

Unless TI loses $2500 from your 10 calc videos posted in under one hundred eighty days, you probably can't be successfully persecuted  prosecuted :P

That has nothing about loss I'm afraid. I directly copied it (with adding the bold) From my interpretation if the copyright owner made $$$ off of it, it's still a felony. :S

That's a misleading interpretation, then. The bill concerns copyright infringement. The copyright owner can't infringe upon their own copyright.

I think the part about the copyright owner is meant to say that if they *lost* more than $2500 on the performance, not that they made that money off such a performance.

If we show any part of TI-OS, then technically yes.

Another law presented by lobbyists on a paycheck and under the control of people who don't understand the consequences.

Calculator C / Re: How are exceptions handled?
« on: July 03, 2011, 04:30:02 pm »
Ndless might actually generate "exceptions" because of how compilers handle floating point arithmetic. These of course wouldn't be hardware exceptions without an FPU, but it might be possible to catch them.

but what are they TO YOU? What do you treat them as?

The only Pokemon I've played since I was 8 was Pokemon Red...

I would beat the game in a couple of hours by training one pokemon (Butterfree), then getting the Legendary birds. You seriously don't need anything else to beat the Elite Four.

Pocket monsters are obviously slaves. I mean, look at the name. You don't put pets in your Pocket :P

Hm, it doesn't seem a lot accurate (how it gets the stats?).

I think you can query the root DNS servers for that information, since you have to find the servers in order to find the site. But it's pretty inaccurate, as you can see from the fact that the electricity for the server alone is more than our entire hosting bill :P

It also only catches the front end servers. It records Google as having only about 8,000 servers, when they likely have far more just to process the sheer number of requests they get daily.
