6270 : You go learn LaTeX because it's cooler
6271: Psssh, I've already learned LaTeX.

Real or fake?

My opinion: Real, because that is not the craziest/coolest/best thing I have seen an animal do. It's entirely possible for a cat to do that.

If it was fake, some one PLEASE explain to me how you can make a .gif that "perfect" and still yet Photoshop it.

There's no opinion to it. It's either real or fake, no questions asked.

News / Re: TI-82 Plus officially announced!
« on: February 11, 2014, 11:02:16 pm »
That reminds me, do you remember back when students swapped the TI-89 case with a 83 Plus one to circumvent tests restrictions?
I personally do not, but doing so might not help since the key labels are confusing and turning on the calculator would produce a TI-89 screen.

And yeah, I put 6268 because I didn't think 6266 was Omni/calc related. No pun intended with Omni/calc.

It refers to the post I made about the motto changes in another thread.

6263: You decide to write your own programming language, and beg [insert calc company here] to use it for their next calc
6264: You can't be screwed to type "calculator".
6265: You want to create an anime about calcs (Nspired from TheCoder1998's sig)
6266: You change your motto every six years

Do you mean the ClassPad II? Because I think the topic starter wants some game programmability too, which is a serious issue on the FX-cp400 (extremely slow Basic language compared to Nspire Lua and HP PPL). If you mean the Casio PRIZM (FX-cg10/20), then that has some better programmability (LuaZM, SH4 assembly and C, although all of them can only be done on the computer). The ClassPad II is also very expensive unless you live in Canada.
Time to adapt the old saying.
1990 - 2007: "Death to Casio! Long live TI!"
2007 - 2013: "Death to TI! Long live Casio!"
2013 - now: "Death to Casio! Long live HP!"

(For example: Nested lists are great for parsers. The Nspire doesn't have them (except in a weird workaround that isn't really efficient for normal use; I plan to make them easier to use in my preprocessor I'm building).)
What's the workaround, then? Storing the list indices?

Ok so is there anything that the nspire cx cas has that the prime doesn't?

To start, Lua support

My new desktop (some personal info blurred)

Changes:
  • Installed gnome-panel
  • Changed from a dark kitten background on the terminal to a lighter version (problems with too much stuff being displayed and the background turning white)
