Why do you prefer Spasm?
And can DoorsCS7 compile assemble non-DCS programs?
I prefer SPASM cos it's what I started with and I like the way it reports errors, the way it's simple to use and it's speed. And yes DoorsCS SDK can compile programs for any shell or even shell-less.

OK, I want to learn z80 assembly, but TASM isn't compatible with my shiny amd64 laptop.
And it is OLD.
Are there better assemblers out there?
PS: I've used some NASM for Linux, so that one would be great
You can use the DoorsCS7 SDK (Brass) or Spasm. The DoorsCS7 SDK is cross-platform. Personally, I prefer Spasm.

Sorry that I couldn't reply earlier, just click again on the button with the preview image.
Yeah, but perhaps a X button would be better. Also, what about this?

Thanks, I really didn't understand what he meant.

To be honest, I can never get your python programs to work Scout.
In Windows, I can even create exe files. For other operating systems, you just need to cd to the right directory and then type python filename.py. In most Linux distributions Python comes pre installed, so I guess Python is becoming really popular no, and there are no problems with it. It's a client problem I'm sure.

Due to calc84 being the busy guy he is, and with the other projects he has going, the estimated release date on Project M is approximately 1 year after HL2: Ep3
I don't think there's even an estimated time, I think that not even calc84maniac can predict one.
I must agree with you
So how is this coming along?
You really shouldn't ask calc84maniac so many times how this is going, calc84maniac is very busy.

The last version of Linux (Ubuntu 11.04, in beta stage) I think many Linux users would get real upset if they read this
Woooops, that was very bad. Let me rephrase it. The last version of Ubuntu (Ubuntu 11.04 beta)...
