optimizations as I can, I've only programed in ASM for 1.5 years, and therefore

Only? :P

I agree with you though Hot_Dog, optimization is very hard, Runer112 seems to be a pro at it.

BatLib / Re: BatLib/ReCode Examples
« on: April 12, 2011, 02:24:51 pm »
Yeah, that's what I meant to say ;D I hope that works someday, but I think I see the reason for why it doesn't record the contrast... the .gif files would get pretty large :/

I made a new shade sample, but this one won't get to Shade(40 and then go back to Shade(1. Instead, it does something like this:

So, since the lightness GIF recording with WabbitEmu doesn't work, I'll just paste the code:

Code: [Select]
dim(56,4,1,22,"FDCB00AE",40
0->I->A
While getKey!=15
If I>40
0->A
If I<1
1->A
Shade(I
If A=1
I+1->I
If A=0
I-1->I
DispGraph
End
Shade(24
Stop

Attached is the file, like it? Any optimizations?

Hehe, code for us, ztrumpet, code for us! When I get around to creating line routines, I will need to add in new functions, but I might also add in more rectangle routines I think it was merth that mentioned some good ideas for making rectangle patterns (like turning off every x pixels on a border).

For us? More like for you.

I would really like circle drawing command, but not sure if this is possible.

Well, goal not Met :( I only made around 40 new ones.

But, however, made it up by making tons of enemy and NPC sprites

Don't be sad, I'm sure there's enough time.

I probably have at least 60-70 more years left in my life, I think I'll have enough time ;D

I actually think people with our age will live longer than adults of nowadays.

Other Calculators / Re: Do you plan to purchase an Nspire CX?
« on: April 12, 2011, 02:07:23 pm »
Maybe it could be done for the CX, with 89 with colours!!!
O.O

@Stefan: MYST with colours.

But I'd prefer a 83+ with emulator, even if no colours.

I'd a buy a CX right away.

I checked it out Zeda, not sure if I can make it.

But it's great you're using it already to turn BatLib to .db's, I personally prefer those because they don't need special endian :S

I thought that project was ended?

It was not very stable, indeed. Maybe it could be done for the CX, with 89 with colours!!!

For some reason the auto-billing didn't kick in, it was taken care of yesterday. Sometime this week I am sure we will be back up.

Good, not too long then :)

Although there are several things I don't like about the CX, I'm seriously considering selling some of the calcs I don't really need (TI-83, TI-89) and getting a CX CAS. Anyone else?
Sell your Ti-89? Forget it man! Bad choice, bad choice. :P
That calculator is the best calc in the world! (Ofcourse you may do what you want :P)

If you sell it, you won't be able to try MYST 89 when it comes out. How sad would that be? :P

Or we use 89 emu for Nspire :P

OmnomIRC Development / Re: OmnomIRC
« on: April 12, 2011, 01:55:39 pm »
Also, the lag stopped. Was it because of Omnom?

Quote
Random idea.  Would it be possible to have omnom or a bot have a sort of +afk -afk mode, that just changes the name to something like _afk at the end?
So any user could do it, only to him/herself (except maybe an op could do it to anybody).

Changing the Omnimaga username? I don't think that's possible.

@Graph He fixed it shortly after I posted this, so it should be fine now.

@Scout It's because I hate the Opera 10/11 theme or any theme that looks like Chrome, FF4 or IE9 default themes, so while I use Opera 11, I decided to install an Opera 8-9 style theme instead.

I see, also it seems all browsers are imitating Chrome tabs style, Opera, Firefox 4, IE9, all did it!
