I heard it is a bit more advanced than the Wii... I don't know if its true of not. Probly not tho
I believe it is (afterall it's epic), but Wii has features the DS could never haver due to being a TV console.

So, in my opinion,
The Gameboy Color is more advanced (for example better graphics) than the NES The Gameboy Advance is more advanced than the Super Nintendo The Nintendo DS is more advanced than the Nintendo 64
What about the Nintendo 3DS? Do you feel it will be more advanced than the gamecube?
not quite yet, though it has a shot. I personally don't like the double screen idea though -- if they could just jazz up the Advance SP design, that would be a buy for me. And if It came with a pokemon game 'Pokemon Rainbow' where you could play through a 2000 hour story in more than the 5 regions
I guess you're asking too much The double screen is pretty cool for me.

I have problems with reloading (every 15 minutes) I have to manually refresh OmnomIRC.
Oh yeah, I've had that problem for a while too. Sometimes when Omnom times out, timing in doesn't work and I have to refresh the whole page.
And it'd be nice if Omnom turned itself off when a user left the page and reconnected when he returned.
Is that possible, using Javascript, can it be done?

Windows 7, Google Chrome and Ubuntu 10.04, Google Chrome (both 64bits), everything is fine for the time of being.
Are you having slowdowns?
I have problems with reloading (every 15 minutes) I have to manually refresh OmnomIRC. Also, when I press ENTER it takes a while for the message to appear. I don't consider these serious problems though, but the second one is slowdown.

Hmm list of stuff we should have installed. Firefox, Thunderbird, TiLP2, WINE, nspire emulator, all other emulators for TI that work, IRC client, some sort of dev environment for z80, a post notifier, more?
How about Chrome instead of Firefox, as Scout suggested? It's a lot smaller. And don't forget TilEm.
And gedit with a Z80 scheme
Maybe when I release Assemblex (it's Python) it could be included too. I prefer Chrome, but I have both. So I suggest both. What about Internet Explorer?

First of all, if you use Internet Explorer or that you are not browsing Omnimaga from a computer, please note that we may not be able to address the following issue, as we cannot support compatibility with phones and other devices, nor the outdated Internet Explorer web rendering standards. Also, please upgrade to the latest browser version of what you are using before posting, if possible. Regardless, read below:
If you experience slow browsing issues due to OmnomIRC lagging your computer or browser, please post the following here:
-Operating System, including Bit version and the sub-version of it. Example: Windows 7 64-Bit Home Premium Edition -Browser being used and it's version. Example: Opera version 10.60 -Computer specs: Processor (amount of cores, if applicable, and GHz) and amount of RAM
We are trying to figure out the pattern of system setups where slowdowns occurs. There could maybe be a bug in OmnomIRC causing extreme amount of ressources to be used in certain browsers, like it could very well be outdated computer system (if your processor speed is in MHz and RAM around 256 MB, we may not be able to help you).
Windows 7, Google Chrome and Ubuntu 10.04, Google Chrome (both 64bits), everything is fine for the time of being.

Yeah I think all these modifications are possible but I havn't succeeded in coding the enemy system yet so I can't do that at the moment It will be done when I'll finish ennemies But I've some questions: Is it possible to code a function that draws an image with following parameters : => x1,y1 (top left),x2,y2(bottom right) coordinates
If think you can only do that if you have the picture's width and height.

Don't use them if the data is required for the program to run, though (always have a backup to rely on in-prgm). Appvars are generally useful for saving high scores or external levels.
Yes that's right, but they do allow moderately high amount of data.

They can be disabled, but there still remains the fact that while there is a quality control, it is just to filter extremly crappy text-only games or redundant guessing games. Also crappy games of a serie of complex games are sometimes exempt, otherwise Illusiat 1, 2 and 5 would never have been included in our archives.
I think people are unwilling to give out one-star and two-star ratings, though. Most of the downloads are either 4 stars, 5 stars, or zero, which doesn't help quality control
What if someone does that for trolling? Well, now that I think about it, someone else will rate it up, but it's still annoying.

Sounds pretty cool. There are a lot of these for the 8x, but none for the NSpire (before this was released).

Ah, right. Yeah I remember the original GBA. It was so terrible X.x
Terrible when compared to more modern consoles, right?

AXE/ASM noob here!
What's the ideal way to store large amounts of data (i.e. map data, sprites, large strings) for your programs? I'd expect that you'd just keep the data in your program, but is there a better way to do it? Also, could I get some guidance on when to use temp ram areas/external variables rather than portions of program memory for data storage?
Any other data optimization tips would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks! -Zippy Dee
You can use Appvars if you want them saved even when the program is closed.

* Qwerty.55 is disappointed not to see 1500 byte menu screen graphics
not to be rude, but I actually don't understand what you mean
I think he means your graph screen uses >1500bytes. I'm not sure though.
