Can OmnomIRC come back? Maybe we can't type/talk in the channel but view #omnimaga, since eitherway people can read it in the logs.
Not sure if you agree, though. 2883
Site Feedback and Questions / Re: Site funding and maintenance« on: March 16, 2011, 02:45:18 pm »Exactly. Just trying to get a good time to discuss these things with the others. And despite having a few months till October we should be planning as soon as we can. I feel like most of you are already aware of this and agree with me, though. 2884
Site Feedback and Questions / Re: Nearly 900 members... but have many of them even contributed?« on: March 16, 2011, 02:43:48 pm »After the dramatic events of the past few days, I went to the member list page (Misc -> Member List). And kind of analysed it by sorting it in several ways. I was surprised when i scrolled alphabetically that there were many users with 0 posts. So I pressed sort and what came up was at least 440 members had never posted! (it was all 0s until page 5, then 1s and 2s). This might be ok, but if you consider the trolling events going on and half of our members not even posting (600 had 5 or less posts), kind of questions the quality of our members (may registered this year and 2nd half of last year). Do they program? Do they know about calcs? And for the ones that do post (and are fairly new members), are they posting the stuff that we have seen over the past few months? I doubt (answering the last question), but I can't understand why people create accounts and never post :S 2885
Site Feedback and Questions / Re: Site funding and maintenance« on: March 16, 2011, 02:41:25 pm »Hmm, well maybe. No decisions are going to be made yet. I still have to talk to the rest of the admins. If the Google ads are discrete, less people will click on them and you will get less money. Besides DJ_O said that you don't earn much with that. of course, such big and crucial decisions can't be taken by one admin alone. 2886

Web Programming and Design / Re: davidgom.co.cc Redesign« on: March 16, 2011, 09:12:56 am »Nice. I'd suggest calling that a "base converter" though -- a "unit converter" converts units, between mPa and atm, for example. Thanks, I changed it to Unit Converter now. I also like the navbar ![]() EDIT: In the Products section: http://davidgom.co.cc/products.html There is a new type: Online Databases: • TI-83+ Series Assembly BCalls List; • Casio PRIZM Assembly Equates; • TI-83+ Series Assembly Instructions Opcodes 2891

Metroid: Chozo Mission / Re: Metroid Chozo Mission« on: March 15, 2011, 05:14:43 pm »well, one way yuo can make the movement downwards faster by let's say 2 pixels per frame is by moving and collision detecting by one pixel each time, rather than moving down by 2 then checking. That seems doable. I hope he finishes Metroid first, since it is such a good project. 2893
