Also, why is your topic named '*Waves'?
Because I wanted find an unique name, and *Waves seemed fun to me (waving to someone, greeting :)

You didn't answer the second quote :P

Oh I see the 'waving' thing.

That's right. An employee of our beloved texas instruments works at my school as a tech guy and I had no idea about this until today. My math teacher got the notion I knew more than the average person about calcs and I told her about a new Nspire calc coming soon (CX ofc). She told me she herd of that when she was at lunch. I didn't know how this was possible when she barely knew how to figure out graphing and basic Nspire functions (we use Nspire in our classes). Today when I got back from my lunch period she told me that she had gotten ahold of a TI-Nspire CX and she saw it with her own eyes. I figured this was impossible. I asked her how this was possible when she told me that Mr. <someone> works for TI! I was very excited to hear this. Last block of the day he was not in his office, but I will go and meet him and talk to him FIRST THING TOMORROW MORNING!! I will ask him about future programming capabilities, OS 3.0, and 3 other questions you all have to ask.
 O.O

edit: I mean the teacher saw the nspire she doesnt have one herself but the staff guy does.

3? What about 20! This is awesome.

WabbitStudio Software Suite / Run in Wabbitemu
« on: February 28, 2011, 04:59:14 pm »
Instead of contacting one of the developers, I decided to post a new topic here since (I think) this is useful for more people than just me.

I want to create a function in Assemblex that runs a file in wabbitemu, so it'll create a 8xp (which I do) and then run it in Wabbit, which has to be in the same folder as Assemblex.

First of all, I'd like to know if you authorize this.

Then, I'd like to know how such thing would be possible so that we can all learn how to do this (if it possible :P). I can open wabbitemu.exe by pressing a button that will run that process, my doubt is sending the file to wabbitemu.

Also, Assemblex is Python, but give a general idea since (I think) this doesn't apply only to me.

Also, the user would have to put wabbitemu.exe in the folder, I wouldn't distribute it, don't worry.

Hello, I'm Jim Bauwens, and I'm the little big brother of Stefan Bauwens.
I program for the TI-92 Plus / TI-89, and Basic is my main language. I can program in C, but for some freaky reason I never really created any real project in it. I'm also a enthusiastic computer programmer (Python/Bash/C), and I use Linux as my main platform (and I oh so love it :)

My current project is (a second version of) Block Breaker, a puzzle/platform game for the Ti-92/v200. Its almost done, and I'll probably post it here somewhere in this month for bug testing/reviewing (if you guys want to do that).

Of course we wanna test/debug/review your project :D

"The OS is signed with a 1024-bit key"

In the middle of the .tno fiel code is a key? Sorry I understand what it does, just not what it is.

I think the RSA key is explained pretty well here

Thanks.

Indeed, soft buttons may be fragile...

As someone already stated, text weares off quickly, I think they are not very fragile, though.

I think they will get destroyed easily. I know my remote buttons constantly fall off/rip. It also take a speed reduction. all you extremely fast typers on calculators will not be able to do that now. (I'm not overly fast).  the only good thing about them is that they add a relatively good feel to the keypad as you type

The advantage is not enough to outweigh the disadvantages for me :S

err, bump? it's been a few days :P

Congratulations! I really liked Zadoth, the only problem is that it is very easy to get infinite points by pressing only one key multiple times :P

I never actually looked at it. I liked how IE6-8 were simple, although other browsers are simple in general too, I guess, nowadays.

Chrome is super simple, hence a lot of people like it.
