Anime and Manga / Re: Manga Fox
« on: September 26, 2010, 10:03:19 am »
Yeah, and I think that shutting down the sites hurts the sellers of manga, because I wouldn't have ever found naruto or bleach (or the 20 others I have/am read/ing) without onemanga. When I can, I want to buy all the volumes for a few if them. If it does hurt their sales, then they will allow sites to host it again.

Anime and Manga / Re: Bleach

Iit is Urahara and Aizen, btw.  Yes, Aizen is gone for good, IMHO. The only reason why that may not be, is because the Hougyokou (Okay, that might not be spelled right, but I think it is) can change how things should be. So, I guess if it doesn't like being sealed...

On this note, I believe that the manga is going to start winding down.  I think they'll offer Ichigo a captain's position (probably 5), but he will refuse, because he wants to stay with his friends.  Then, Orihime will tell him he needs to become a captain to save him, and then... the end. Just my opinion, though.

As for Naruto, I believe its about to come to the climax, then start winding down.  Which will leave One Piece as the last of the "big 3 mangas", but since I don't read it, I don't know about that one.

@squidgetx
What's up with the bakuman grayscale pic? Its awesome!

Also, Just checked Witty Adrian's posts, and most of them are a few words. I'm sure DJ will pm him about it.

General Calculator Help / Re: Exporting/signing apps?

So it is. My bad, I had misread something earlier. :-[
But my main point is still valid ;D
Oh, of course. Yeah, the calculator isn't really good at large math like that.

General Calculator Help / Re: Exporting/signing apps?
« on: September 19, 2010, 03:44:26 pm »
Not to mention apps are signed differently (not with RSA but with some other method)
In the end, though, it's still slow. :(
No, it does use RSA.  That's the only thing the keys are for.  The way signing works, is that you take some hash of the data to be signed, like MD5 or SHA hash (MD5 for calcs, IIRC), then use RSA to encrypt that.  Then when the calc checks it, it creates its own hash and signs it, and if they match, then the data has not been tampered with.

Axe / Re: CheckSums in Axe?
« on: September 14, 2010, 09:03:32 pm »
Could someone, if they have the time, write an asm routine that calculates a simple checksum of the OS and saves it to an appvar, "BChkSav", overwriting an old one if it is found. If it isn't too much of a problem. It might be an interesting addition to a secret program I am working on.
Your better off with something like an MD5 hash, as a checksum could be easily foiled by adding an extra word somewhere so the checksums align themselves.

Could you post your results in case someone else has the same problem?

The Axe Parser Project / Re: Compile Off-Calc
« on: September 14, 2010, 05:08:42 pm »
If I have a .8xp file with Axe source, how can I compile it to an application off-calc?  Can I pull apps off of WabbitEmu, perhaps?
You can't. This is because of the massive differences between program files and apps. For one, program files can use SMC, whereas apps cannot.  I believe, therefore, that there are different routines used to access data.  Either that, or at least the program has to be written with app compiling in mind.

I don't think it's possible, but don't know for sure.

I KNEW WE HAD NORMAL PEANUTS SOMEWHERE! >.> :P
Yeah, the someone tried to hack the rick astley peanuts, so they started making the regular ones again.  Something about how astley rolls. I'm not sure my self, but The Game Inc. has reported that they sent a DMCA notice to remove the hacked peanuts. You may now enjoy your peanuts safely, by decree if King Graphmastur.

I love Memes. ;-)

Yeah, but on this site, that would be like 20,000 youtube vids at once.

Thanks for the feedback.

Okay, I think I'm about to go write a Safari plugin that removes the words "The Game" from any webpage", and replaces them with "I like losing too".
