Just curious, if your laptop is dead, how are you posting on here?

edit: Your hard drive might still be recoverable, so you should look into getting a hold of an external hard drive case for it...

I'm in America, and Winter Break = Christmas Break...must be a public school thing.

As for what the secret thing could be, maybe it's new programming in the calcs to prevent non-TI calc geeks like us from messing with the settings? Or worse, something to prevent us from hiding our programs from teachers?

1193: You wipe your calculator with a soft, soft cloth (with a non-abrasive cleaner) whenever someone returns it to you.
1213: You also use a disinfectant.
