You can actually change the battery icon somewhere in the options to be numerical in Android 4.4, and the circle animation is pretty cool, so I guess you can uninstall that app.

(I assume your interface is in French so here we go: Paramètres > Interface > Barre d'état > Afficher le pourcentage de la batterie. Also, Affichage du niveau de la batterie > Cercle. Note that your mileage may vary.)

Turns out that yes, I probably forgot to recompile the C++ parts of the app. Another version should come soon.

Edit: It's uploaded! With new icons! So yeah I pretty much accidentally released the same version and I had a hard time figuring out what my mistake was. Which was the fact I thought the parts written in C (which is most of it, the Java parts are just pretty much a wrapper) recompiled when I told the Java parts to recompile but it didn't.

Now ogle the swell new icon I made.
