Yeah, that's part of my theory, it's freaking easy to get the United States, from there you get to Adolf Hitler in 3 clicks.

We did that at school on 2 computer, we started on the same random page and we had to get to another random page the fastest. We found out that you can get on the article about Adolf Hitler in maximum 4-5 links.

Mostly videogame music (8/16-bit style, Touhou, etc.), techno/trance (DJ Omnimaga :D), rock (some Québécois bands are not bad), pop (Rick Astley <.<), heavy metal (Metallica and the like), in fact, a lot of stuff. Don't forget Vocaloids (Hatsune Miku ^_^) who can sing pretty much anything.

Could be totally awesome :D

Miscellaneous / Re: What is your avatar?
« on: May 25, 2011, 01:21:19 pm »
I have now got my changing avatar working. Turns out heliohost doesn't like spaces before opening php tags or having ending tags
It cycles through instruments I play python and a cool hand I had as my profile pic on fb for a while
You can't have anything before the opening php tag when you use header().

Other / Re: Favorite Linux distro

Arch all the way for me. If you're enough advanced in the usage of one of the more friendly distros (Ubuntu, Mint, Fedora) and you want some challenge, Arch Linux is for you. When installing it, you start with the bare minimum, then you only have to add the packages you want, resulting in a distro tweaked and customized as you wish. Also, Arch is a rolling release, meaning you always have the most recent packages when they get released, you don't have to wait for, say, Ubuntu's next release to get a package's next version. And the package manager, conveniently named Pacman, is simple but powerful to use and you have access to an user-contributed repository, AUR, though a 3rd-party wrapper to Pacman.

tl;dr it's the best if you know Linux and you want a distro between Ubuntu and Gentoo.

Site Feedback and Questions / Re: Appeal: tweet #omnimaga
« on: May 25, 2011, 02:01:32 am »
Like me :P All my tweets are relayed on my IRC channel, it's kinda not bad.

So yeah you might want to install a like/tweet button only once in each topic and not in every post, would be nice.

Oh yeah, Facebook. The perfect platform to tell all your real life friends how great is Omnimaga.

I use Twitter too, I like how tweets with the #cemetech tag goes straight to #cemetech on IRC.

Also yeah, it might incrase visibility when you use #omnimaga, but I think it only works when you have a decent number of followers who don't alreaady knew about Omnimaga.

It reminds me a lot of the videos by MysteryGuitarMan (a former calc coder).
Yeah, he's so awesome :P
