Well, obviously they didn't used all the opcodes from 00 to FF, so all the unused numbers are undocumented and do random things they don't know about. That's my guess.

M$ even gives away a Visual Basic .NET and a C# compiler in your installation of the .NET framework. Visual Studio Express just gives out the text editor and the tools to work with those compilers. The Pro version give more fancy and obscure options to test your program and everything to work in teams and all.
