I think so, I believe there is a way to do it, somehow.

Bit off topic, but what languages can use DirectX and is the editor/libs/other crap free to download?
Yep, the SDK is freely available on Microsoft's website. I use C++ to program, but there are .NET libraries as well. I think you can use any language that can make use of external .lib's and .dll's.

Yeah, I'm thinking of buying another one that supports Windows 7 correctly. Nearly all my games are unusable on it, Minecraft, for instance, lags like hell, some even stops working before having started, one even BSoDs, Starcraft 2 would explode my computer like a certain lobster and my SNES emulator... works perfectly. And my laptop died from hard disk malfunction, so I can't test on it. So pretty much the only place I can work correctly is the high-end computers at school. But yeah, my current card still render things correctly, so I can wait for buying another one.

Hm, I'll try to run that app again this week at school, maybe it's because of my crappy graphics card (a nVidia GeForce 4 MX under Windows 7).

Miscellaneous / Re: Where Did Your Name Come From?
« on: November 22, 2010, 01:51:11 am »
Hm, I think I didn't explained mine...

So, as far as I can tell, juju2143 was my first username, long ago when I signed up for some kids' section of some website.

So juju is a diminutive of my real name, Julien. Seems my brother Justin has the exact same diminutive, so he's somewhat part of the reason. And no, it's not related to Tak and the Power of Juju. Then, obviously, I had to put some numbers after the name, so I opted for 1234, but was too boring, so I inverted the numbers 2 by 2. And no, it's not related to Battlefield 2142.

I have an alternative nickname, which is Sonikku, because I love Sonic the Hedgehog and japanese things. Sonikku is the japanese translitteration of his Japanese name. I use it where juju makes everyone think I'm a girl, because in French, Juju is a common girl nickname. I sometimes prefix a DJ to it because I like doing music.

Also worth mentioning my website, julosoft.net, comes from my other diminutive, Jul, and the suffix -osoft, like Microsoft and the such.

Here's some glitch I discovered in high school.

You must have CtlgHelp installed, tested on TI-83+, OS 1.19.

- Press 2nd RCL
- Press 2nd CATALOG
- Pick a function with a rather long name and press + to go in help
- Type random characters until you get a checkered cursor
- Press F4 to paste
- You should now get a glitched screen. (Press 2nd ON or CLEAR to quit without harming your calc.)
- Press ENTER (optionally after having typed some random characters)
- If you're (un)lucky, you get an even weirder glitched screen leading to a RAM CLEAR.

Well yes, that's so easy, you install a plugin in Blender, then you choose File > Export > DirectX 9 (.x)... and there you go. But beware, you have to choose the right DirectX Exporter plugin, or else it won't work, or look messed up.

So all my .x files I generated with Blender works well in DirectX viewer, but one of them crashes in my DirectX application I wrote...

I know you can edit ICO files with Visual Studio, I don't know if you can with the Express Edition though...

<.<

Seriously, I like the actual logo, but I agree it needs to be somewhat fancier, or less fancier to fit the small resolution of a TI screen, but would still be awesome.

50 should be nice, 100 topics would be not only be slower, but also be overly long...

I successfully converted a Blender file (.blend) into a DirectX (.x) file for school usage.

I'm gonna make a game with all the characters in these .x files. :) Will be cool.

844: You've ported WFRNG to any language.

846: You wrote a language that compiles according to the WFRNG.
847: You modified GCC to compile according to the WFRNG.
848: You inserted in GCC a race condition that modifies /bin/login to make the user login according to the WFRNG.
849: You miss being on the page 42.
850: You added a sign to your post just to have a round number such as 850.

This is great! I wonder...

* Brandon Wilson jailbreaks a PS3 with a microwave oven!
W00!
That would be freaking epic. Or maybe...

* Brandon Wilson jailbreaks a PS3 with an alarm clock bought in a 99ยข store
* Netham45 jailbreaks that alarm clock with the jailbraked microwave
