I would rather choose a host with a long term reputation (that has been open for years) rather than someone's random host. I tend to not trust the later because there are more chances to be shut down than anything else and is usually not maintained as much (e.g: Juju's VPS having no DDoS attack protection and often going down and taking days to go back up). As for Alberthrocks he uses a VPS. I personally was aiming for one of those plans: http://hostfolks.com/hosting/vps/
Well, I have 2 VPSes, my personal one didn't got any DDoS attacks ever and is reliable, the other, belonging to my community, gets DDoS'd because we pretty much gave everyone shell accounts on it and some group of trolls hates us. So as long you won't give everyone on Omnimaga access to the server, you're in business.

Online TI emulators could be a good idea, but don't put it too public, I already see DMCA notices coming from everywhere.
Well, what if we make the user upload his own ROM?
Yeah, could be a solution. And DJ, I don't really know a lot of public computers with Flash and Java blocked. I can watch YouTube and everything on school computers.
Hmm, over here, they block individual websites instead of plugins.
Here as well.

No, Wine emulates the whole Windows while Mono is only the open source version of .NET Framework.

Yeah, I actually like "Lights Out", even if you say it's generic radio stuff and all, this song is rather good. Even "Never Gonna Give You Up" was generic radio stuff back in 1986 and is actually good.

Well, the resulting .exe's are so well integrated in Windows you can mistake them for actual binaries. .NET is interpreted because you can run the same binary on all OSes with mono, much like Java. But sometimes, some executables uses Windows .dll's so you can't run it in mono.

Depends if they let you mess with the DNS or change the nameservers.

DJ, I'm 100% sure there is free and open source stats software, but I'm not really sure there is a web interface. I'm even sure that for each task you want to do on a computer, there is a free software way to do it.
alberthrocks, depends what you want to put on your website. Also, it's always possible to point both names to the same place, or even make 2 different websites.

Stats should be easily doable with an Apache log analyser or even with your board software.

Microsoft made a .NET Compact Framework made to fit on most handheld devices with low disk space, such as phones running Windows CE. According to Wikipedia, it takes up 12 MB, which could fit on the nspire. There is also the .NET Micro Framework, which takes no more than 300KB of space and doesn't need an OS to run, it could even fit on a TI-84. So C# on the nspire should be possible with at least the .NET Micro Framework. Plus the fact Microsoft announced they will release the .NET Micro Framework 4.0 source code under an Apache License 2.0, it would be awesome if someone manages to run some C# on the nspire. And i thought my VPS was cheap... I like how you can make words with the TLD (.us.to) and not just a name + a TLD, so I voted withg.us.to. DJ, I highly recommand you moving Omnimaga to a VPS, despite the fact you have to have some knowledge in Linux. But I'm sure there is at least one staff who knows how to setup everything correctly in the first place, so you could run the server without typing all these commands in a console. Webmin is kinda great for a control panel. And with a VPS, you have everything you want, so it's worth the move. In fact, it's a server with several virtual machines on it and they give you complete access to one of them, each of these virtual machines is referred to as a Virtual Private Server (VPS). Plus, you can host your IRC bots, IRC servers, radios, game servers, etc., anything, like you were running these servers on your own computer. It's really nice.
