I've had this account for a while, but I haven't actually done much until a few weeks ago.  As for the russian title, I thought it would make me sound smart and attract millions of people to read it! MUHAHAHAHA!!! :evillaugh:

I don't either.  Whenever I get interested in a topic, I will go weeks without sleep researching it.
ex. last summer I became obsessed with Star Wars, and I read just about every page on Wookiepedia (Star Wars wiki)

About your notes on superconductivity, I'm actually doing research on room temperature superconductors right now.  Personally, I believe that the key to room temperature superconductivity lies within phonons. (that's all I'm going to give away)

Oh, and btw, researchers have know confirmed that the transition into superconducting phase and the Meisner Effect happen at different temperatures.

So, do any of you have science fair experience?

I'll start: I've won first place in state for the past two years (Physics in 2010 and Engineering in 2011), and I was one of the top 10 finalists in the 2011 I-SWEEEP 3E competition.

Miscellaneous / My Ti-83+ broke
« on: November 14, 2011, 10:27:07 pm »
Well, about a month ago, my Ti83+ broke.  (It's the main reason I got my Nspire)  It all started when I spilled some essential oil on the back.  Then the screen went haywire (see photos), and now the screen doesn't work at all.  I can still transfer and backup files with Ti connect, so the calculator itself still works.  How can I fix the screen?

A toy cellphone, that is.

Despite how awesome the cx is, I still want an optional clickpad keypad for the nspire!

Oh, and btw: touchpad is what you have on your laptop.  touchscreen is, well a touchSCREEN.
