News / Re: Notice about OmnomIRC« on: June 23, 2010, 11:02:33 pm »I wonder if making the bot linked to the database would add a lot of load of the MySQL db server? I have no way of getting into the DB itself better than what SMF provides to me already with it's RSS feeds. I can make it check more than one post, I just need a chance to sit down and do it. I've had almost no free time recently. 1008

It sounds difficult to understand, so good luck getting it fixed. PHP for parsing the logs, Javascript for the AJAX and log refreshing, and an mIRC bot to connect to IRC with. 1009

Miscellaneous / Re: How did you find Omnimaga?« on: June 15, 2010, 11:21:43 pm »
Found it after leaving Cemetech due to... issues I'd rather not restart between me and, well cemetech.
I found Cemetech after a link on DetachedSolutions, I think I found DetachedSolutions after googling for random MOS crashes I found MOS after googling for ticalc's and finding ticalc.org I got my first TI-83(non plus) from a garage sale for $2 when I was 12, and that's why I first started googling for TI stuff. I got a TI-83 and a TI-86. I've since lost both. 1012
News / Re: Notice about OmnomIRC« on: June 15, 2010, 03:27:33 am »I'm not sure if that is possible, because OmnomIRC iFrame is not directly tied to the forum system. They are totally separate, unlike Cemetech chat box This. But, I think I see a way I could make them somewhat tied in together without many issues, I'll have to experiment with it sometime when I have a chance, whenever that'll be. Basically, I'd just move the iFrame code into the shoutbox, that way I could control the javascript refresh loops, and also have sending a message reset the timer. 1014

Just some stats about the server usage:
Most of my server is OmnomIRC. I have some forums, and a couple code repos on there, but they're using maybe 3GB/mo max. My monthly bandwidth for the past two months has been 33.5GB/35GB used, and 33.8GB/35GB used. This is right on the head of where I want it to be. Right now, for June, I've used 8GB. 8/5 = 1.6 GB/day 1.6*31 = 49.6GB for the month of June. I would rather avoid paying extra for the server that OmnomIRC is on, and this is why I am asking you guys to limit the usage. just to point it out, I am currently paying $276/yr for the server that OmnomIRC is on(Granted, OmnomIRC is a small portion of what *I* use it for, I have quite a few other things on it.) Also, if anyone notices any glitches with OmnomIRC now(either ascetically or functionally), please let me know, either by posting in this thread(preferred), or over PM(Don't do it unless it's a potentially abusable glitch) Sorry about having to ask you guys to curb the usage a bit, but I'm on the line of what I can do, bandwidth-wise. 1015

Project M (Super Mario) / Re: Project M Reboot« on: April 23, 2010, 01:26:12 am »
How 'bout 2 releases, one w/o sound entirely(if it saves a page), and one with sound that just doesn't play the sound on an 83+?
It'd be nice for people who don't have sound equipment for the calcs, or who just want to save space. 1019

OmnomIRC disappeared because my hosted server disappeared for some reason, and I wasn't around to fix it.
