Maybe an Alpha Lock to a qwerty keyboard?
What's the orientation of the calc going to be, like the TI calcs, or like a wide screen on top and a keyboard on bottom?

Maybe something like JFFS, or something more suited to flash-based memory would be better.

Joystick ftw. Get a little slider like what the PSP has.

SpyBot45's been replaced by OmnomBot, a bot that alberthro wrote. I'm currently hosting it for #Cemetech and #Omnimaga.
On another note, I've done a few bugfixes for OmnomIRC, mainly with how it parses colors. It should look a little cleaner, and I removed that pesky '<' that was always showing up on the first line. Also, posts now just show on their own, I've removed the <saxjax> and <OmnomBot> tags infront of the post names.
Edit: OmnomIRC now resets 270 seconds after the last message sent, instead of 270 seconds after it's loaded.

00 is the standard for the end of an array. you could either check for it and replace it with something like FF, or, as previously suggested, use a byte count array instead of a null terminated one.

Either a setting in the OS, or a switch inside the battery pack? I think you can tell standard from rechargeable through an electrical means, but I don't know how you'd go about detecting nimh/ni cad/li ion We could always put an internal battery and a crank to charge it.

How 'bout the idea of having the calc able to charge Li-Ion rechargeable batteries while plugged into a computer, or something? Li-Ion AA/AAA batteries, that is.

I've only had one issue on eBay, and all that took was a threatening letter to the seller(took him almost a month to ship) to fix. `-`

But don't even try wasting your time with the people on the tinspire group: most of them are North-American-minded (copyright, licensing, etc. - instead of encouraging creativity) teachers who hate games, and are happy to stay undisturbed together among like-minded individuals... You aren't going to convince them that their opinions suck.
North America's a big place, not all of us think like that.

Let's not get into illegal activities, though.
Then we need to move to russia or china where it's legal!
