Lua / Exact Lua
« on: September 12, 2011, 06:26:28 pm »
I just realized that Lua doesn't give exact answers, only approximations.
Can you guys think of a way to get it to display exact answers?

when I was in APCS, my teacher didn't taught us anything so we had to learn by ourselves XP
(Yeong got a score of 4 in AP test XP )

Out of? Also, I know people who use Microsoft Word to write CSS. Of course, now they use Notepad++ thanks to me :P
Highest possible is a 5.
That's very good :)

Oooh, you should make it omnimaga based. :P

YES do that!!! that would be a hit and jail is a ban
"End your ban free" cards ;)
Lol, that's a good idea.
I'll make 2 versions: a classic version and an Omni version.

Math and Science / Re: CAS
« on: September 07, 2011, 08:51:54 pm »
Do you think it will be banned from tests if a CAS actually gets completed?
I don't think so, and even so, IMHO, it's high time that all the major tests learn to accept the CAS system. I know that in the US, only one major test doesn't allow the CAS, and it really doesn't affect the scores much at all, according to some studies about it.
ANyways, good luck with this :D

Wow, I completely forgot about this until today, when one of my friends asked me when this was coming out. I'm not sure if I'm going to continue this, so if you would like to do this, just PM me. If I don't get any PM's, then  I'll just probably put this in the line of projects :).

Hey there!
Welcome to omnimaga! :D
To do that, use the Ti computer software to transfer files, but you will want to put on .tns files, not .lua ;)

Hey Imagine! Great to see another Luaist here!
I would strongly suggest going to inspired-lua.org for lua help.
Apart from the Nspire (I assume) what calcs do you have?
Have fun!

P.S. The peanuts are an inside joke that I don't understand either :P
You are possibly the first person I've seen here give peanuts to themselves :D

Thanks guys!
And the Omni idea isn't bad... I'll make an Omni version after I make the original (it'll take about 5 seconds more to make 2 versions).
