Now I wish I had a TI-86.  ;)

I optimized it and made it faster, and I added a health bar (except it is just a number).

I hope this will make the game long enough (2-4 minutes instead of 10-60 seconds previously).

I made a game today in like 30 minutes. It's called Gravity, and basically you use the left and right arrow keys to move your character (theta) to the bottom right corner (the character automatically moves down, like gravity), while avoiding the X's. It's 320 bytes, but it probably still needs to be optimized.

The only thing is, I used labels in this program, and I don't know how to program without labels  :P

Pressing [MODE] pauses. The game speeds up gradually as you get a higher score.

I'll try it, since it seems like the right kind of program. Thanks!

General Calculator Help / Manual Applications

Are there any tools to easily make "manual applications" like the one attached for Mimas? I don't have any experience programming applications, but I really want to make a simple application that can hold a LOT of text.

I just played the new games. Nice job on the Tile Battle!  ;D

I have an idea: Would it be possible to create a BASIC version of this game for this game pack? --> http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/131/13165.html

I'm not that good at BASIC, so unfortunately I can't make a version that is very efficient. But I tried it and I thought it was quite fun.

News / Re: Correlation Instruction Manual

I noticed another error: on page 15, "at the bottom of page twelve" should be "at the top of page 14". But other than that, I think this manual is well-written and easy to understand!  ;D

EDIT: Also, some spelling errors in the last sentence of the first paragraph of page 18.

EDIT 2: Page 22, 2nd complete paragraph, last sentence, I think you mean e^( instead of Text(.

Me too, the Metric system is a lot better.

Anyways, I always sucked at Reversi, and I always lost whenever I played against someone else D:
Hopefully the calc version will help me improve  :D

I hope that this project is on hold and is not abandoned  :P
Because, I want to play more of these games!

Miscellaneous / Re: Pet Peeves-Post Here

I'll just post my pet peeves:

Showing work correctly, but getting points taken away because the teacher can't understand your work (it was a really simple step, just factoring, but I did get the credit back  :))
People believing that I am always correct, and they give me a hard math problem that I get wrong
Teachers that make me take notes, even though I learned all of it in 4th grade
Teachers that don't let me play Mario in class

I'm just wondering, are there more games being made now?  :)

Anyways, great progress so far, and the games are so fun!  ;D

There should be a way to reach all the characters, including the ones normally inaccessible (like the alpha in Omnimaga) from a menu. Also, have more of them  :P

When I try to download DCS, this pops up:

Template->make_filename(): Error - template file not found: site/archives_file.tpl

A similar error happens when I visit cemetech.net's homepage. I don't know why, though.
