News / Re: SirCmpwn Joins The Ranks of the Coders Of Tomorrow
« on: June 22, 2010, 10:58:19 am »
SirCmpwn has been a member of the community for a long time now, fought his battles to stay connected to Omnimaga and has many notable projects underway. Most notable of which is a third party OS named KnightOS which aims at bringing a real OS to the calculator with multitasking, real file-systems and more. So without further ado, we welcome SirCmpwn to the ranks of the CoT! He more than qualifies. Sub-forums for his projects will be created tomorrow.
Congrats SirCmpwn.

Congratz SirCmpwn! Have fun with the new buttons!

Builderboy2005 was my first email address (because at that time i was a huge fan of building with Legos) and all of my internet names have been a derivative ever since :D

Luther (my alter ego) was the nickname given to me by my 5th grade teacher after he said I reminded him of Lex Luther for some reason :P

Interesting, from the picture you posted I don't see much Luther in you :P Must be the way your evil mind works :P Just kidding.

Who wants to be lex when you have your picture as a person fram avatar. Pandor ftw lol

I find it interesting that half of the names here came from runescape :) Mine did too aswell. When I was in middle school, I got into runescape and I really like rc cars, and had a few until they became a bit to expensive  :-\ ( and the fact I blew a motor up on one). Well needless to say, rcfreak was taken on runescape, so i just added the "0" after it cause i wanted the name, and its kinda taken to everything. I pretty much use this nick for just about everything. This includes WoW, and for those of you who know me enough on IRC i play a bit too much WoW sometimes, but since WoW doesnt allow numbers in names, its back to rcfreak for my main character, and if you wanna look at rc, and the other characters, the link in my signature shows them all. The stats might be a bit off but w/e.

11th grade English class, messing around with the topic "Iambic pentameter."

I suck as making up nicks, so I gave it some real thought. Some online identity that I would be consistent in throughout my time here. So... here you have it. Not that long. Except with how long I've actually *used* the name.

On IRC, I've used "Xethyl" as an alternate nick in case of disconnects and nasty things like that. That was derived off the pack of a chewing gum, where it advertised "Now, with Xylitol!"
I like the gum part lol

(edited for shameless WoW plug )

ha, like wow would even run on it anyway
I can wish, untill then ill just keep bringing my laptop to class... hence why my homework is never done :(

N-spire has a wi-fi cradle.  And I think that that would be able to handle a web browser better cause it has 32MB of RAM a web page would be really hard to render in even the largest of memories among other calculators (256kb if Wikipedia is to be believed.)

The real power is the development of an Tcp/ip library then development of everything begins.  I have images of people playing wow in math class.

I would def. play wow during class, though might be hard on a tiny calculator :/ but still wifi on a 84+se is still far away :(
