Wow :o  It's kinda scary how close you've gotten it to the original screen.
Good luck

It should be an interesting game.  Like DJ said, good instructions would help since it took me a while to figure it out at first.
Good luck ;D

Introduce Yourself! / Re: Hey

EDIT: Oh, and welcome back, simplethinker! Best name I've seen so far. =P
I'm an afterthought? :'(  Thanks for the compliment on my name ;D  No one has ever actually complimented it before.
Your name is a bit confusing though.  You're staff here, so basically you're "The man", but you're an anarchist which means you hate the man...  :D

On a side note: I need some help choosing what to use for my avatar.  The choices:

The first one is a plasma beam created in the lab I'm working in.  The other two are just plain neat ones I found online. (personally I'm leaning towards the middle one)

Art_of_camelot SEROIUSLY wonders what the deal is with DJOmnimaga's obsession with Rick Astley...

Remember, thinking causes headaches ???

TI-BASIC / Re: TI Basic Programming Tutorials
« on: November 08, 2008, 11:28:46 pm »
I haven't seen any (decent) video tutorials before so these should be a good way to reach more people ;D

I'm not sure if you mean "good tutorials" in general or just video, but TI-BASIC Developer is an extensive Wiki with tutorials and documentation for TI-Basic (and a bit of assembly)

ROM Hacking and Console Homebrew / Never edit SNES game levels after 2 AM

That was the thread about the companies making games easier/dumbing them down for people in North America.
You're Mario level is probably harder than the original Japanese ones  :Dbiggrin.gif, so that means people in the US are the only ones without crazy-hard Marios now.

Geez DJ, you said that North America got screwed by the http://omnimaga.org/index.php?showtopic=1782 companies, but you Canadians have it even better!!  So I guess its just us Americans that get the dummy games :paf:tripaf.gif

Miscellaneous / "nerds"
« on: December 14, 2007, 05:10:00 pm »
Nerd is a compliment!! (It's geek you gotta worry about...)
My experience is that people call you a nerd until they need your help (then when helping them you "accidentally" give them wrong information, althoughI've only done that twice though, they were idiots, and I mean 3rd-4th grade IQ idiots)
The classes I take are the advanced math/science and the idiot history/english, so I average out  :Ptongue.gif

Other Calculators / TI 89 or 89 Ti???
« on: November 30, 2007, 02:33:00 pm »
If you think the titanium is big, you should see the TI-92, they're huge.
My cousin found one for $30, but the only good thing about it was that it has the same Bible/manual as the 89.

Any ideas on how to convince my parents that a sophmore in high school needs TWO calculators? hehehe... This could be interesting!

Do most algebra II and Pre-Cal and Calculus (UIL competitions...)

I didn't notice this before.  For any math class below Calc 3, an 89 is WAY overkill.  You won't need even a fraction of its capabilities, and they aren't allowed on any standardized test.

I don't think the situation is exaggerated.  Lately he's been very easy to upset, and he's been talking about leaving the community and he's been getting more and more serious about it.  This has been going on for a while.

I'm not sure but yesterday morning when I tried to get on I found this message:
"Board has been shut down until a new admin is found. Admin must:
-Be fluent in english
-Not alerady own another TI website
-Be active in the community."
I PMed him about it at UTI and didn't get a response.  I tried getting on her later in the day and the message didn't shwo up, but I didn't find anything on the forums here explaining what might have happened.

[edit] I was looking through the http://omnimaga.org/index.php?showtopic=72 page here and it says that Steve Ouellet was on the programming team from '02-'03.  I can't find him in the member list.  If anybody knows how to reach him, or if you can find his username somewhere we might be able to email him.  The last name is the same so I'm thinking maybe Kevin's brother.

Miscellaneous / a story with no title yet...
« on: November 25, 2007, 05:04:00 pm »
If it was that long ago, how did you find this?  And that might also be why Spellshaper has responded yet.
You have me laughing my *** off when I'm supposed to be finishing an essay and my mom in the other room.  :lmao:ptdr.gif

Back on topic.  The story is nice.  I've only seen NGE on cartoon network with the crappy dubs so I thought they didn't either didn't buy the license to the whole series or made the ending up.
