@Xeda:

For the fire animation, can you add an optional argument to display the different direction of fire buring? (eg default burns upward. )

I believe link port came first with ti-82. So you'll have to type your program manually.
EDIT: 5 people already mentioned it O.o I really should learn to read the previous posts.

TI-BASIC / Re: [CHALLENGE]Logic and Optimization

I was able to do 25 bytes, but my input string is backwards, and it takes Ans as the string input instead of Str1 D:  It also has the benefit of being a single line

Code: [Select]
.5sum(seq(expr(sub(Ans,X,1))2^X,X,1,length(Ans
Your program can be simplified with the use of expr() as well, instead of the ="1
I'm scared of what TI-BASIC can do sometimes O.o

as Builderboy said, never mess with X and Y variable when you're using a graph screen as they can be changed.

I'd reccomend Balloon Fight, Ice Climber, Wrecking Crew, Excitebike, and Xevious, in addition to many of the games mentioned by others...
Xevious is one of my favorite! :D
Also, twinbee is really good.
