Since the last few days, I had trouble accessing every CloudFlare-based website every evening, but this evening is particularly bad, as it has been lasting for over 30 minutes now, even though their status page is showing that Newark server is up.

Also, tonight it's different. The other days my connection to Omnom would be lost too if I didn't refresh and it would eventually error. Now it just sits loading on a blank page, only showing the page title and Omnom still works as long as I don't refresh. Only CloudFlare's status website will error.

I wonder what might be causing the issue? Here are three traceroutes I did via command prompt:

I noticed the site is particularly slow from the local shopping mall too, yesterday and earlier today. I don't remember what ISP they are using, though.

One thing that is interesting: If I am posting via my computer in a topic where AJAX posting works (eg I remain on the same page), it isn't as bad, and editing posts is almost instant.

Also this appears to only happen in Opera 12.16 and 18.0.1284.68 (the latter which is basically Chrome or Chromium engine)

EDIT: Ok browsing solved now. I cleared most cookies I could in both versions of Opera I got. However, this still doesn't solve the erratic traceroute behavior nor the slow loading at the mall.

In case you are wondering where I went, I left Omni back in 2015 to form CodeWalrus due to various reasons explained back then, but I stopped calc dev in 2016 and am now mostly active on the CW Discord server at https://discord.gg/cuZcfcF

Maybe bad IP ranges?
You should maybe report this to cloudflare.

I actually asked my ISP and they said the issue was on Opera's end, since it works fine in every other browsers. However, in the Traceroutes, one IP that failed each time at least once was Videotron's. Both my install of Opera 12.16 and 18 were affected. Clearing cookies fixed it at first, but then the problem came back a few minutes later (although to a lesser extent). The latter issues might have just been a coincidence, though, because at that time I also got a 522 timeout from Cloudflare. I reported the issue to CloudFlare anyway.

I have Opera turbo disabled, so it's not due to connecting from Opera servers.

Btw what it usually tried to load with no success was ajax.cloudflare.com. Not sure what it is.

ajax.cloudflare.com seems like a redirect to www.cloudflare.com to me...
