you don't know how badly it was written.  A rewrite would take at most 4 hours and it would chop off 2/3rds indeed.

yeah it's axe ;)  I could write it in assembly, but I'm an ultra fast Axe coder so I can stick with that ;)

also, I'm not considering making a 1.1 version anymore.

I'm making a whole new reboot.

It'll make 1.0 look like dirt ;)

I'll try to get a lot done today and tomorrow and post some screenies here.

here's a question for you all: how much do you think I can optimize off?  I know the answer already, but I'm interested in what you think.  It's currently at 15K executable code.  What will it be after optimizations?  Winner gets a gold star.
Even if it rises at 16 KB I am happy this was finally revived. It's certainly gonna have a news when it comes out, ticalc included, hopefully.
