Could you specify what exactly do you have problems with? Like, do you need to know how to do tilemaps? Do you want to know how to have random battle encounters while walking? Do you need ideas for enemy, magic, item or weapon names? (I would probably keep weapons out of this if it's your first graphical game ever so you can familiarize yourself with that type of project). You may want to read a bit on TI-BASIC Developer or TI-Freakware/Cemetech tutorials, such as this http://tifreakware.net/tutorials/83p/b/tifw/les8.htm (This explains homescreen collision detection, but there are several other ways to do it) or http://tibasicdev.wikidot.com/starter-kit . If you use xLIB or Doors CS you can also check http://dcs.cemetech.net/index.php?title=Third-Party_BASIC_Libraries for more info on how to use these commands.

You can also check the TI-BASIC sub-forum here. If you don't understand something in particular and cannot find any info, feel free to ask in the TI-BASIC section and maybe post some code too so people can point you in the right direction. (Note that people will not do the entire coding work for you, they'll help you do it.)

I need to know how to make maps and the like. Ive already have some of the game planned out. Im going to make this RPG short (being my first one) then im going to make a 2nd one that is longer. (David's Epic Journey 2, of course)

Here's a tutorial on xLib Tilemapping:

∂²Ψ    -(2m(V(x)-E)Ψ
---  = -------------
∂x²        ℏ²Ψ

I kinda like the look, although I would make the letters for it bolder. Also remove the weird bar in the second D and the O at the bottom.

The S and D from David could be improved, but maybe that's how it's supposed to look?

I like the alternative look, though :D

Well, the calculator limits what and how I do it. But yeah I'll fix it. (weird bar wise and curved D's and S's.)

Oh I didn't see the one in the S. I guess it should be fixed too.

ALso I think the look will be fine if your RPG is meant to be humoristic. Otherwise it might be best to maybe use something like Times new roman fonts, but that would be hard to do on-calc. You would most likely need to use Paint.

??? How did you do perfect Times New Roman?????????

I don't like the font, though, it's too formal for an adventure game, try something more wild :P
